  1. I used the z32 tranny aswell it is the best option if you already have the 26 tranny plus if the tranny ever breaks you can use the rb gear and internals fr rebuild.
  2. Me to for the life of me i cant find the air regulator pin or the wire color? Can anyone help me.
  3. I am not running nistune as of right now but i have one on the part shelve . I keep hearing it is a great ecu to tune and the program is excellent.
  4. I still never heard a complaint about a cusco unit it all depends on what you want to do with it.
  5. Cusco is used by most of my drift freinds and they are indestructable plus you can switch them form 1 way 1.5 way and 2 way if wanted.

Anyone thought of "dipping" the dash in something like plasti-dip ?
  7. Hit Modernmotorsports web site they do a package for this but its expensive. BTW we know each other form MTL racing dont we ?
  8. Thank you I found a speed to gear ratio calculator. 3.54 would be nice but to cruise in 5th gear at 120km/h lower rpm better mpg for a daily hehe.
  9. What kind of top speed would you see on a stock 280Z 3.5 ?
  10. Its good to have more options but wolfcreeks cost 900$ and are bolt on indestructable, stubs are 200$ at 1100$ you have axels on your R200 add a KAAZ at 900$ and you have a great setup. PS that is what I have. I cant wait to see if your setup works it is ALWAYS good to have more options keep up the reaserch maybe youll end up with something awesome.
  11. Im wondering if i should try a 240sx cusco diff the guy told me he has 5 bolt outputs and it doesnt have the VLSD sticker at 500 $ i starting to find its a good deal... needs to be 29 splines and from a non lsd car.
  12. Putting a google search bar that does the *XYZ* site:hybridz.org would help find stuff faster imo. I am not from the old crowd but I found over the time that this site has been linked quite alot on other forums for people wanting RB specific info and it brings the wrong crowd wanting to get the info spoon fed to them. We are victims of our great knowledge base. I think it is ok to be more "agressive" against lazy new comers.
  13. 3ryce you should start your build thread in the RB section.
  14. Thank you very much ! I wait to get another advice since I only had one answer on another forum saying the same thing.

  16. Hi im trying to find out the sense the oil is going in and out of my cooler. I dont have any arrows on it or any indication whatsoever. I got this cooler from a guy on GTRC forum for my RB26 and he didnt know where it came from it was on his car when he imported it. My guess is on the photo below top comes form cooler bottom is out from engine. Please if anyone has a idea it will be welcome.
  17. Yes you can use the internals from the Z32 the RB25-26 and Z32 are basiclly the same I got that from NICO forums and if you look at F.A.S.T. the parts have the same number. The fact that the Z32 gets thrown around alot is because in the sticky their is a thread about using a Z32 tranny on a RB25 bellhousing. Further report showed that the shaft lenght diffrence is negligable so you dont need the swap input shafts. Read it its a great post. I am using a Z32 tranny with a RB26 bellhousing its a simple swap couple bolts swing the hammer take it off swap bolt back up done ! Read the sticky.
  18. Sorry to bring this back up is their an update ?
  19. Hi everyone, Im just writting this to show what i have done to shorten my shifter bracket so it can poke through in the cab its basicly free if you weld. So here are the pictures i took. First we have the original brace marked for the cutting. Then I cut completely the shaft form the linkage. Then rewelded everything at work grinded and painted. You will have the grind a little under the brace so that it doesnt hit the linkage. The linkage shorten and welded. The underside of it all. Top view. Basiclly I just cuted then reweld in between the "legs" easy as 123. I wish i had kept the picture of when I had it cutted Ill search for them and post them later if i find them. Hope it helps some else for a cheap almost free solution to shifter relocation.
