hmm..... I have some glass fenders by PPI as well. made in '87. I have not decided if im going to install them or sell them. im just to lazy at this point in time to deal with the fitment issues that come with glass parts. we shall see. now that I think of it, most of my series one 240Z was fiberglass, all made by PPI. they had some neat parts, inlcuding full fiberglass qtr panels with built in flairs. (still have those) im wondering if they have long since gone out of business. anywho...

wow, That is just beautiful, so much so that I MUST have more info on these cars. is this a new body conversion kit or all these just two custom jobs? ive always been fond of the 240SX, I always thought it looks more like a first gen Z that the 280ZX/Z31/Z32. RWD, coupe, hatchback. me want!

Yeah, some jackass hit my car at the body shop...he works at the shop next door and jsut walked off. when i confroted him he was liek "whatever, i just bumped it" he broke the passenger side suger scoop all to hell. what an ass. he didnt even care. I was honestly giving him so much shit I was waiting for him to make the first move and through a punch. im not a violent person, far from it, but that would have made my day. GRRRRRRRR... still pissed off. called the owner, and he didnt give a rats bum about it either, he said "the front of your car was on our property. so tuff sh1t" jerks, my body man is of course a wizz with fiberglass and claims he can fix it, also said that its inside now and will not sit outside until its ready for you to pick it up. whenever he finishes it. man im not happy about that at all. bah....whatever....im just thankful he didnt back into my intercooler. guess i should be greatful to that sack of crap. anywho....sorry to jack your thread. because its all custom. thats just the way it works. welcome to the "fun" side of things....just thing of the reward when you get to drive it. There is a guy in San Anotonio that does "midnight" or "black" chroming. alamo plating. this was a couple years ago last time I checked, but from my info his business is going strong. If not, im sure there are plenty of platers in mexico that can do it. Dont know if I would trust them though.

that fighter over water vid is great, been looking for that one for a while now. also, this year at the SA air show, during their practice sessions on thursday a tomcat broke the sound barrier, lucky for the pilot, there were no reports of broken windows, just people scared sh!t73ss! are you saying that you cant legally tint your windows in cali? that sucks. In texas you can tint your windows, but you have to stay within a 45% light transmition range (dont hold me to that). hmmm...im hoping i dont get pulled over in my 240ZT, I just had them double tinted with limo tint 8) im probably going to get hassled for it, but hope i can get away with it under the grandfather rules in the law. we shall see. im not going to be driving it that much anyway.
