  1. Should be: Red/Black to +12V/ground Orange to Illum White to sender Senders normally ground through the chassis. - Greg -
  2. Normally white is for the signal. Sounds like you didnt get the sender. - Greg -
  3. Buy the bumpers for $40 and get them rechromed. The rest isnt even worth the scrap value. - Greg -
  4. http://picasaweb.google.com/niligold/Attach/photo#5026278599647448434 Bahahahahahaha! Engineers unite! - Greg -
  5. Oh yeah... anybody wanna buy some nice stock late-260Z bumpers (with shock absorbers)? I'll give you a great deal, I promise! - Greg -
  6. 260 FTW! Rare than 240s, sturdier like 280s... the decision seems obvious - Greg -
  7. Sounds like a possible culprit. The rear sway bar wont transfer weight because it is flexing in the bushings, leading to understeer. You should get Energy Suspension kits 7.5110 and 9.8120. Lots of online retailers -- try www.ultrarev.com. - Greg -
  8. What bushings did you install? I'd look at the swaybars first. If the rear bar is too soft or the front bar is too stiff, you'll push. - Greg -
  9. Cool.. thanks for the link. Thats a bummer they arent glass, especially for that price. The integrated signal is really cool, though. As for protectors, check out www.griotsgarage.com. They have some super thick clear 3M film that you cut to size. - Greg -
  10. Anybody got dimensions on these calipers (mounting bolts, offset to pad surface, etc.)? I'm trying to find out if I can use the MM adapters with some different Nissan rear calipers I already have. Thanks, Greg.
  11. Whered you buy them? Can't find an online store that sells them. - Greg -
  12. Was searching and located this thread... just wanted to defend Courtesy. If you call them, make sure you talk to Butch. He is helpful and polite. He will search eFAST for any Z part you want. - Greg -

Yeah, your next step will have to be to remove the diff cover and locate the ratio on the ring gear. Just rotate the gear until you find the small engraving. Then just convert the fraction to a decimal to see if you have a 3.364, 3.545, 3.90, etc. You'll have to know this before shopping for a LSD. While doing that, take the opportunity to clean the area inside and out, then get some good synthetic gear oil to refill the diff. - Greg -
  14. Not sure if this has been posted on HybridZ before, but here's a great little history of BRE Datsun. Thought it might be a good addition to your thread. http://www.datsunhistory.com/BRE.html - Greg -
  15. I believe all SR20 MAF's should be 50 mm, not 70 mm. Only exception would be the 00-02 G20 MAF (roller rocker SR20) that is slightly bigger (maybe 55 tops - not sure). It's a fairly common upgrade to bore the SR20 MAF to 54 mm. That makes it good for an extra 30-40 whp. Some info I stole from sr20forum: J30 - part # 22680-30P00 - 75mm 300ZX and 300zx TT 90-96 - part # 22680-30P00 - 75mm RB20DE(T) - Part # 22680-16V00 RB20DE(T) - Part # 22680-02U00 RB25DE - Part # 22680-02U00 VH45DE - Part # 22680-61U00 VH45DE - Part # 22680-61U01 VG30DE(T) - Part # 22680-16V00 - Greg -

Wow you need to clean in your nooks and crannies Based on the position of the fill plug I'd say that's the R200. - Greg -
  17. Probably because a big I6 wouldnt work in a FWD application. Sad truth is most cars built today are FWD. For a big RWD application, you may as well just go V8. Car manufacturers are also more likely to go with an engine that can be dropped into multiple applications. - Greg -
  18. sr20forum.com g20.net I see T25's go up for sale fairly often there. I would think you could get a regular journal bearing T25 in good condition for under $200. Cheapest option is going to be a standard T25. You can push 250 whp out of one of those on a 2.0L motor, albeit with a lot of backpressure. - Greg -

  20. My fiancee got an 06 G35 sedan last November. Fantastic car and a fantastic price since the 07's were just coming out. It does have the VQ35DE (290ish HP). The car is a blast to drive, even as an automatic (and I normally dislike autos). The placement of the front shock towers makes for fantastic handling. I also drove the 07. It is a different beast entirely. Almost feels like a muscle car in the cabin layout and power delivery. On paper it only has about 10 more HP but it is much faster (the power curve is quite a bit different). I liked it but it wasnt worth the 5K price difference over the 06 after rebates. In November the 07's were going for sticker and not a penny less -- and they still couldnt keep them on the lot. - Greg -
  21. Yep.. base of the fill hole, basically. Just fill it up until fluid comes out the fill hole and youre done. You can check it by sticking your finger in the hole I used Redline Heavy Shockproof. - Greg -
  22. If a random orbital will do, this one is a great unit. It's pretty much reviewed as the best detailing tool around. I dont see why you couldnt use it to sand as well. http://www.coastaltool.com/cgi-bin/SoftCart.exe/a/port/7424_car_buffer.htm?L+coastest+bgjw9230ff98de98+1170214304 I bought mine from there -- you won't find a better price. - Greg -
  23. Make sure your mustache bar is installed the right way around. Dont ask how I know - Greg -
