    That is my color. I had intended on going to the local Tasco paint supplier and have them mix it up for me. One option is that you can take your gas lid or an interior piece ( door from the interior storage bin) and have them color match it.....

    17X9.5 and 17X11..... go big or go home, especially when buying wheels of that caliber.....

    To tie it all in, Paint a pinstripe on the lip of the wheels. That should tie things in well. Maybe a little addition to the valve covers...... subtle touches.... Glad to hear they are welded and not poly-glassed.....

    Gaps are tight. Better than factory that is for sure...... I would be paranoid about the buckets and fenders cracking over time....but that is just me.... Looks good.

    I am don't have an objection to the BAMF flares. I actually like them. I am just trying to explore other options. I am going to be putting a 17X11 on the rear with a 315 or a 325 rear tire......... I have limited posibilities short of a one off set...... It just takes me a while to swallow the bill of a one-off product....... Hell I just spent over 2000 for my headlights on my Tundra...... ( god I hope my wife doesn't see that)

    This is troubling news as I am in the process of putting together coilovers....... I am going with the 200lb spring rates on all 4 corners..... John, opinion? ( puts on flame suit)

    I am planning on a 315 in the rear of my 240..... I know they will fit under the BAMF flares but another option would be nice...

    I think I will hold out for some stainless bumpers. But I am interested to see how the fitment is on these units.

    Please do. I am interested to see what they turn out like. It looks like you are keeping the Datsun lip on the fender that so many just put a rolled edge on.

    @d-philip Do yo know if your body guys would be willing to make a mold and reproduce these flares? I would like to see the finished product as I am looking for flares now. I will also have the same wheel sizes on my car and most likely the same tire sizes. I will be powered by a S/C'd LS3 that is on its' way into the chasis now.

    Welcome to a money pit....... but you will forget all of your woes once you get behind the wheel......i had budgeted 15000 for my swap and i have surpassed that with no emd in sight !

    I got my T56 off of ls1tech.com...... It just so happened that it was a local seller. That is also where I got my LS from as well. I am still getting it all put together. I don't really have the time to spare or the knowledge to put the car together as I want it (600+) to the wheels, so I have a local shop putting it in for me so I can do the rest at will in the future. I have a LS3, with a Maggie on top.....

    I believe the term you are looking for is " what is swamp ass" I will be putting A/C in my Z as soon as the car is on the road....

    It is now a waiting game. Motor is built, tranny i ready, working out the rear diff situation. Waiting on Jeremy@ PowerFab. Now....
