  1. Single plane cranks don't need those heavy counter weights either. It's more than just the exhaust pulse benifit.
  2. The ONLY way you are going to make a V8 sound good is with a single plane crank. The sound from that 1UZ with the itb's is the intake not the exhaust. The exhaust sound would be typical dual plane V8. I would look into the BMW V12 with an adpater to run whatever trans you wanted.
  3. Don't know were they came up with the head warping stuff. I haven't warped one and I have used MLS head gaskets on a factory finished block and heads without problems.
  4. Seems like some on that board had to tune some after. Anyone here switch over without any hitches? It would be nice having launch control but that's the only benifit to the extra code for me.
  5. So do you have to be a cash donating member or not? Just wondering as I requested but haven't heard anything.
  6. Ya, I'm using the stock S30 engine mount on the cross memeber and rubber . I'm also using the accessory holes to mount to. Here's my driver side one.
  7. Your torque curve is incredibly flat. Doesn't seem to drop much at all, must of done alot of head work. Lag doesn't seem too bad either for the size of the hotside, I thought it would come on about 500 rpm later. So when are you going to crank the boost up and see what that turbo can do ?

    Shift light

You can do a sequential shift light with the 3 leds outputs on the board.
  9. That's pretty good. I'm about 2 3/8" from the lower flange on the valve cover.
  10. Are you running an a/c compressor? The back of my compressor is .700" from the Z motor mount.
  11. No, the shifter comes out too far forward though. You could go back another 1/2" but it still wouldn't be enough.
  12. Making motor mounts is pretty easy. The trans mount would be harder unless it was bolted to the trans tunnel. I welded mounts to mine, then bolted the mount.
  13. If your miss comes back, see if you have a pulse width spike with the voltage spike. If so it's your flyback circuit. Check this out if it returns. http://www.msefi.com/viewtopic.php?t=21805
  14. Ya, they are a good street tire but still a street tire.
  15. If you are getting PW and voltage spikes on your log (somtimes hard to see as it happens so fast) look at this thread. I had them until I did the mod to the flyback. I even tried the filter. I would have them every 2-10 minutes, I thought about wanking MS out. http://www.msefi.com/viewtopic.php?t=21805
  16. Are you running on the flyback or using resistors?
  17. Thanks. There are different turbine and compressor trims for what you listed. I would run a 60-1 but if you are set on an E trim, I would go with a 50 or 60 and atleast a stage 3 on the turbine. I don't know what Holsets flow.
  18. Those arms are more than they sell for new. Didn't see MM's 4 lug hubs on his site, just 5 lug ones.
  19. I've run RA1's and V700 Ecsta, not Victoracer. For a given size the Kumho is pretty wide. RA1 has more tread depth, may mean something if you want to get more life out of it. I like the Kumho more.
  20. Are you running MSII with a flyback?
  21. You could do 300 rwhp with a .48 but it would take ALOT more boost to do it. Cast pistons are fine, don't detonate.
  22. The first foot of my feed and return on my tank are 8mm (5/16). The rest 3/8". It works fine for me and I can return enough volume even with two pumps.
  23. You need sticky tires on a high hp car, even on the street. Launching the car hard on those soft tires and then banging gears for a good et is what's hard on them. I have never worried about breaking anything unless is was at the strip. That's why I rarely go.
  24. Are you sure your throw out bearing will be close enough to the pressure plate? Reason I ask is, on the one I have the adapter is 1" thick and there is a 1.250" flywheel spacer. I haven't bolted it up yet but I know another person has.
