The Los Angeles County Museum of Art is having an Ansel Adams exhibit all they way till May. Im sooooo going. He is my inspiration when i take pics. I won the Orange County Fair High School Photography exhibit with a Gold First place ribbon when i was 16. You should be ok. The only way of finding out if any real bad damage was done is running it like normal after you fix it back to stock specs.

I took a radiator out of an s30 and put it in one of my 280zx's and it fit perfect.

Tim, the bigger TB would not make your engine run any leaner. The tb allowing the engine to suck in more air would just make the AFM open more and adjusting the fuel.

Its a lot easier just letting her vent then to waste your time debating.

My new 79 squirts power steering fluid right on to the exhaust manifold right out of the hose. Can i just unscrew the power steering hoses from the P/S box on the steering shaft and the hoses on the other side of the engine that go to the pump? After i do that, if i can, do the hoses unbolt from the crossmember under the engine? I was looking at it while the sun was going down and didnt see much other than what i described. Whats the time frame on this hose replacement?

I guess that would be like when you get a brake drum turned, they put that big rubber band around it . Boy does that make a diffrence, now I get the picture... Yeah it took me a while too. Im still contemplating the rubber stud idea.

I drill four holes and tap them for the wheel, so I would think it could be done for the pully add on.... But again, how ballanced it this?

Us guys with power steering cant simply go down to the junkyard and pull a pulley off a 240z. We need a pulley with the 6 10 mm bolt holes for the extra power steering pulley to be added at the end.

Now guys im thinking of a new fix. Im going to find out where it would be most ballanced to drill holes in the pulley. Im looking for some rubber plugs in the shape of studs. Im going to take the rubber plug, drill a smaller hole in it, and then add some kind of metal stud within the rubber. I am then going to put the rubber/metal plug in the hole i drilled in the pulley. Im guessing this would give the pulley some strength but also keep the damping effect. What do you all think?

Early this morning while doing dishes i learned that plastic cups DO NOT go in the same cupboard as the glasses. Why is it such a big deal? I used to put the plastic cups on the bottom shlef and the glasses on the one above them, in the same cupboard. sigh
