Im sorry for being so short. To me it seems like that *might* be the problem being it happens after a certain amount of pedal. First, unplug it. then drive it. If it drives better with it off, then you might need a new one, or you can open it up and clean the connections. good luck.

Garret GT28R t3/t4 with a 62 trim compressor (.60 A/R) and a 76 trim turbine (.86). I would like to see a turbo expert compare the potato to the stock L28 t3, on an L28 block. thanks

Its not his knowledge of Z Cars. THis had to happen eventually. I got upset because i see tons of regular Z owners always dissing the ZX. The ZX is an awesome car in its own sense, just like the regular Z. When i see and hear people dissing the ZX, it really pisses me off. The reason being is that its the only car I can afford. I cant afford anything else. Its also the only car i run into that people dont care to have. Now, when something negative comes up about the ZX, i feel like im being made fun of also, being its the only car i can afford at the time. I feel personal about it and it just makes me feel cheap as hell. Take no offense Jeremio

jeromio The ZX brakes are GREAT!!!. You cant let any assembled brake product sit without use dude. Dont spew false knowledge about ZX brakes without the proper facts. I broke a rear seal doing a realllly big standing burnout. I rebuilt them, and ive NEVER had a problem with them after that. Ive actually never seen a problem with ZX brakes at all. Rebuild rubbers are availbale in kits for $14/BOTH SIDES where i shop.

I suggest that whoever does not subscribe or at all read Sport Compact Car, go pick it up. This issue is KICK ASS with a 44 page turbo tech section. Also, there is a GREAT story on page 22 about superbikes. In this issue there are Skylines, Silvias, g35 coupe, and like way more. There is also a 300zx Twin Turbo buying guide. This is NOT a ricer mag like Super Street, Turbo Magazine, Rice Weekly, etc. Go get it, you wont be disappointed.

lol actually i was being sassy.you gotta remember, our chassis may differ from each other. the slightest bend in the chassis would cause the bars to not fit. Also, with those bars, once you take them off after use, the chassis may snap into a position that the bars would not care to attach once they are off. I know its the same model car, but both of us have no idea how much my chassis differs from yours They would certainly have to be adjustable. cheers and thanks for the offer.

I found this pic on a geocities site and it was the first time ive ever see it. Ok i removed the rear vents, the side z marker, and the front fender light. Still need someone to jump in there and do the hard top. I love that pic above, but i really feel that the new z should have had looks similar to the Mercedes SL.

You could alway do what i started doing due to a suggestion by Greimann after coming to rescue me one night. Carry a plug kit and small compressor with you at all times. I have a subwoofer mounted in the spare tire compartment, so no spare for me. I have a slim jack, and a folding lug nut wrench. I get a flat, i lift car, pull wheel, plug, install, inflate, drive on.

The tps moves back and forth with plate int he throttle body. It tells the ECU when you are WOT, so it adds more fuel to the engine at that time. it does not hurt to take it off or unplug it at all. unplug it, and take the z for a drive. Go ahead and WOT that engine. Its ok. If it runs better, then replace your TPS.
