Eh no it's just that side, but when I do bondo it I plan on making matching sides. Also this is just flat black paint, should I spray clear coat on it or will this paint stay on there if I wash it ?

Well I don't really have money or know how to do body work. And I just needed to keep it from rusting is all, I didn't mind the dent that much to begin with let alone now. But yeah There is another place above the wheel well that needs work too where the paint is chipped (I got mad and punched it) so this is just temp work. It kind of reminds me of the old mopar cars.

Well I got in an accident a while back and I finally pounded the dent out which was about the size of a can of vegetables. and then it started to rust so I had to primer it so instead of having primer spots on my car I made this design which I think looks cool just until I get the money for real body work. I didn't have any before pictures, maybe I should invest in a camera. But what do you guys think ?

someone once told me that the auto transmission int he jettas use like mineral oil or something weird. Anyways I know when I worked at car spa they would drain the tranny fluid but couldn't figure out how to put it back.

I thought you can't swap truck engines in to car bodies ? Or is that just CA ?

I want to be able to tell when I'm going over 85 MPH, BUT since I RARELY go over 65 it's really not worth the trouble of making all the voice warnings and cruise control work so is it possible for me to put another speedometer in somewhere so I can see when ever I feel the need to speed ?

My buddy just bought a 1971 Toyota Hilux pickup and inside is a AM/FM radio that says Nissan on it. but it looks stock like it should be there. Now I know Nissan was Datsun back then, could they have been making electronics in the Nissan name at the time ?

TO be honest, I hate the way red interior cars smell. Every car I've been in that has a red interior smells the same for some reason, and it's a unique smell compared to other cars. No worries though, what I would do it try to get a shift knob from a black interior car it's amazing how much a changed shift knob can do to the interior. I went from black to a red Nardi one, and I switch them off when I can.

I read on http://www.zcarparts.com that their 140MPH speedometer is the only one that works with cruise controls but i find that hard to believe so when looking at gauges what do I need to look for that enables them to work with cruise control ? just like cruise control supported ? I don't' see anything like that on autometer

I'm curious about MS. First off if I try and do it and mess up is there anyone to take it to fix? And what does the tuning software look like, do you just fill in the blanks for like injectors or tb size or something ? Also I'm sure i can find this by searching but will ask here anyways at a CA smog station if they don't see the MS then they can't fail you right. They don't need to plug in or anything ?

What about the 6 speed from a 350z real nice. I recently saw a picture where someone had one in their datsun. I don't know what kind of car it was 510 2x0 or what ever let alone the engine but I remember seeing it. Maybe that will fit your bill ?

Now I'm too sure where you can get those deflectors but I have seem then on Evos and I think they come from the factory so maybe someone makes them for regular lancers... Just a thought might be easier to find that way.

Okay I've searched and with the information I got I needed to ask this which I couldn't find on my own. Okay so from what I understand is you should match the size of the header pipes (sorry if thats the wrong terminology) to the size of your exhaust port. (Port Matching ?) But is it possible to get larger header pipes then what your exhaust is since the exhaust will be flowing from a small hole to a large one. I know you wouldn't want large intake runners to small ports. Since I plan on getting the exhaust first since I need it anyways. Anyways I created this picture to show what I am talking about if it's not getting through. Anyways I'm going to be doing 2.5 exhaust if that matters at all.
