If you look at your afr's they are starting to get richer and richer and richer at 4500 and hence your power is decreasing. so you might want to do some more tunning and it looks like you need to back your fuel off some. but then again i guess that could be your meth. kicking in. and im not sure how your supposed to have it tuned for when that kicks in.l
thats a good way to go but honestly its over kill for derek. he is staying NA. i do think i should walk you through the 240sx swap. its a piece of cake for someone like you. start looking for a good quality 240sx transmission. if you have an extra bellhousing laying around we can do the swap in an afternoon. well i guess you will need to have another drive shaft ready that has been shortened ready also. but we can do it real easy like. lol hit me up sometime if your interested
i think you are supposed to have them honed so they have a better fit. i would try to heat it up some with a heat gun and then put it on so its on tighter. makes it less likely to come off or to wobble. the bhj dampers have it in there install instructions to have to hone the damper so you get a tighter fit.

i just ordered this intercooler on ebay. It is the same size as the one suggested earlier but it is 3.5 inches thick instead of 3inches thick. i think it works out to be like 36inches bigger than the 3 inch one. should work nicely with my new hy35w that should get here next week also
yeah i have noticed alot of peoples are off. guess im lucky that mine is on.. but i do have to replace my hinge pin.. wish me luck on getting it straight again righ?? and nice video. i wish my car was that clean
i just got a part time job at block buster so ill have more money for my car lol. so ill get to watch all the movies i want!!!! which is good because i tend to dl alot of them. oh and a movie that blew me away recently was "The Last King of Scotland" absolutely amazing
ok i have this turbo on my engine as we speak. I have the HX30W and i was running 19psi through it and it felt slower than my stock t3 did at 13ish psi. when i swapped out my t3 for the holset hx30w at the same psi(13) i had to decrease fuel on my VE table in megasquirt. so this means it flows less air. so just some real world experience. i did blow it up the first weekend i ran it(it was in poor shape before i put it on) but even if i didnt i would be looking for a different turbo. i have an 05 hy35w on its way and im sure that will make my power goals a reality
Hey guys i was looking at getting this dampner also and i can see spending the 80 bucks on it but what i cant see is spending the 40 bucks for the bolt and washer. Is it really needed and if so why?
You have a r200 in there already correct?? If so just take the cover off of the current r200 and put it on your lsd and then put it in. Not sure what half-shafts you have though but ive seen your work im sure you can figure it out
I would be safety wiring all the pressure plate bolts together. At least do 3 groups or 3. best way is to torque all your bolts down and then break out the punch and drill and drill a whole though the outer left corner of the bolt. and then take a long piece of safety wire and make a loop through the first one and then take some safety wire pliers and spin it to the next bolt and lace it through that one and then keep going to the next one. Then your done!! or use this method to drill the heads of your bolts

He has pallnets upgraded studs. i walked gabe through the helicoil this morning on msn messenger. If his gasket isnt blown out completely he might be able to drill and tap the hole for a helicoil with out taking the manifold off which would be a plus!!!
i wanna try and go to the drag strip here coming up in the next week or so. once i get my hy35w should be fun. ill see if some other people wanna come.. ill pm ya
1974 260z l28et holset hx30w starion intercooler 280zxt radiator. no ac. 240sx transmission. r200lsd. cv axles. 7-8 gallons of gas. full interior. spare tire. and probably about 30-40lbs of tools in the toll boxes. shaved rear end and sidemarkers no bumpers and bumper shocks removed 2525lbs!!! i think i could get it under 2450 real easy if i removed spare and tools
Honestly.. I think it would be cool. Ive always liked vnt turbos. I have ridden motorcycles with aerocharges on them that are vnt, and they perform great and have very little lag. and if it can be done why not?
