  2. alright thats what i thought i just wanted to make sure before i took it apart thanks
  3. ya mine is im good shape its just really dirty!!!!!!! lol
  4. ok so i was giving a used hks(i believe) 2mm metal head gasket today(thanks rick!!!!) and well its been used and then was sitting in a box for a while and it needs to be cleaned up. i was thinking of soaking in some acetone or some MEK to dissolve the old copper coat and what not. but then i started to wonder if i could drill out the brass rivets and then clean all the layers and then after they are clean rivet it back together? just wondering if this would be ok or if i should just soak it in something and clean it that way?? well thanks in advance. Jeff
  5. ya gotta go with the clear... just keeping it clean might be a pain..
  6. i have 3 center caps if ya need them decent shape. pm me
  7. its been done there is pictures of it on zcar somewhere. and i hope your not going to be going very far... and getting it out is doable but your gonna need alot of guys and prolly best to take off your rear hatch to get it out i would think..
  8. ok im not great at this stuff but to me it looks like you are causing that vortex on runner 1 cause you have a ramp to start the vortex then you have the bump to turn the air again and then it fallows the curve of the plenum and then the cycle starts over again... so im thinking you either need to change the angle of your ramp... maybe make it smaller... put holes in it ... change the angle, some thing along those lines. another thing im thinking is to completely change the flow and move or maybe even ad another ramp but put it on the outside the plenum thus changing the vertical cyclone into maybe a more twisting motion that might get the air into the first runner better. cause right now it seems to just be swirling around the outside of it and not wanting to go down the hole lol
  9. if im not mistaken there is a company that takes the pistons and heads off of 2 hyabusa's and makesa v-8 out of them with a new crank and a new block and then puts the pistions and rods in and slaps on the heads... im almost positive i saw it at a show at bike week in daytona a few years back...
  10. not as bad as blair witch but it is pretty bad i saw it on tuesday and nobody was up front i think everybody had been warned to sit in the back of the theater.. lol i agree though was way disapointed
  11. id give ya some places but im in daytona an hour away...sorry i cant be any help
  12. put the front piece on before you trim the top to fit then take the beveled bearing bit and fallow the edge of the counter. this way the front is actually under the counter top formica and more hidden. and some wood putty would be fine and you more than likely dont need to fill any of them unless they are the big football looking hole things..
  13. i think some pics would clear things up nicely
  14. if its like my 74 it is a fiber optical light that puts light into the cigarette lighter. mine is disconnected
  15. if you have a noid light take off your injector plugs and see if your getting an injection pulse. just cause its getting fuel pressure doesnt mean its getting fuel..
  16. my friend just got a 2001 s4 its pretty much stock but its about to change. but your right that is one nice ride.. the allwheel drive is amazing i can be completely out of control sliding around a corner yet still be in control. i love that car.... but my z is still faster lol

  23. dont know on the resistors but on the wiring bundle that i used from DIY the power wire for the injectors was thinner wire and the ground wire was thicker wire..
  24. this looks great. but why make it so you weld it together?? why not make the 2 sides bolt together with an o-ring to seal it?? like just have half an o-ring grove on each side and then just add tabs around the outside to bolt it together. to me that would look way better and maybe even allow for different size plenum chambers to suit different taste's/preference
