    The mechanical vacuum difference is how the secondaries are actuated. Mechanical = faster more consistent activation but you end up with your foot in it more often so worse gas mileage. For most perfornance applications I would suggest mechanical.

    I have removed most of mine with a razor but it does not remove it all. It does appear to be etched in somehow.

    For those of you with a turbo and a vacuum/boost guage. What is your vacuum reading at idle?

    Mattsun, So from front to back on the TPS you have blank, then green then blue? Or blank, then blue then green?

    LSI has it right, they pry off.

    You can't turn the distributor, you need to loosen the crank angle sensor and slide it up or down with the adjusting bolt.

    At your age I am going to assume this is also going to be your daily driver so my advice is to start with one thing at a time. The engine looks clean and will hopefully keep you mobile while you plan (and save) for your 400HP beast. Remember some panels are cheaper to replace than paying someone to fix. Looks good and welcome aboard!

    That is a pretty common area. Gas drips and weakens the paint then water sits there are starts rotting away. Best way to fix depends on how bad it is. Probably going to need some welding done (= dropping the gas tank).

    I have the same vents but choose not to mold in just yet. Maybe when some other projects get done I will.

    There are some very good Hybrid members here in the Chandler area : ) , and some that will bend you over. FWIW, Mesa, Tempe Chandler are all one general area east of Phoenix If anyone needs some insight on shipping fiberglass let me know, I ship my fiberglass hoods all over very reasonably.
