  1. 81-83 zxT R200's use CV axles, so there are no stubs out of the diff.
  2. Looking for a Maxworks or Kisuu type adapter plate. Thought id try here and see if someone backed out of a swap or something. Thanks
  3. Are these the thick spacers in between the bearings in the rear suspension? I may have some.
  4. It might be more helpful if you tell me what you would like to see. I know you had an issue with my tank as to where the drain plug was located, but I know this to be a 76 tank as the fittings are the larger diameter for fuel injection, its still a 17 gallon tank to make it fit 76 and earlier and I can see the baffles and swirl pot through the filler neck. Plus I removed it from a 76 I bought. What would you like to take a closer look at?
  5. It sounds like its working as it should. closed circuit at idle and open (disconnected) everywhere else. These TPS do not work like ones of later years people are used to. Usually its a wiring harness issue making the ECU think the TPS is still sending a "idle" signal and it will cut fuel over 2500rpm. Test the wiring harness at the ECU side for an open signal.
  6. Still have mine. Hasn't sold locally yet. If your interested shoot me a PM.
  7. Are the 77 tps really so complicated? On my 280zx's turbo and non. They just had two contacts. Only used for idle and fuel cut off in deceleration. (When totally of throttle) I ran for a long time without one. (Went to a 60mm) finally went to a brake light switch under the dash instead... I know weird. But it was a clean engine bay.
  8. Is that the interior piece that covers the expansion tank? If so I have one from a 75 coupe Pm me if that's what your looking for
  9. Where do you find one of those? Highest I've ever seen is a 130mph
  10. The fuel pressure regulator, regulates the fuel pressure to what Ive always called 36psi. But if you dead head a pump with no loop style fuel injection the relief valve inside the pump pops at 60psi on NA and Turbo pumps as far as I know.... I think they would be the same as fuel pressure is the same for both models. I used one to start my 2001 S10 when I first bought it. The fuel pump had went bad and the previous owner did not know how to diagnose fuel injection.
  11. You beat me to it Jim! Lol I believe I have both short and tall isolators. Pming now
  12. You can get these brand new at the parts store for pretty cheap. The lower hose will look funny because it will need to have a bend or two cut out of it to properly fit your radiator. They make them all the same for 240z all the way to 280zx, thus why you have to trim it to fit your car.
  13. I believe 260z already have the 27 spline stub axles. At least the early 260 suspension I bought came with them. Id check first. And an R200 can have 3 different input flanges. Do some research on which one you need as they don't all fit all R200's before shelling out any cash, Also when I did the R200 swap to my 240z. I just used the stock front mount and isolator and still have no issues. I'm assuming you have the R200 mustache bar? You might need the half shafts and input flange only. Although Im not sure what kind of parts came on a Z from Malaysia. Good luck with your search.
  14. Hey Sim. Any luck with the oiling block issue? I'd like to see a few pictures, if you have any. On a side note. I'm looking for a q45 oil pan. Anyone have one?
  15. I too am thinking of cutting/drilling/threading the bolt on oil block. Do you have any pictures of the clearance issue? I'm waiting on some oil pan modifications before I can start hoisting the engine in and out..
  16. Your title states a turbo tranny is needed. That would be a T5 with a .78 The 81-83 high OD tranny is for the NA version.
  17. I used my stock R180 mount from my 73 with my R200. People do say to change it. I did not. No issues I can see/feel.
  18. I think the golden rule of "never trust the salesmen" should always be a factor. I'm not sure there "foam and bladder" would handle the low fuel level and aggressive driving they claim. I also dont care for "700hp on EFI and 1000hp on carbs. They never state a flow rate at a given pressure. Also do you need to spend the cash for a 700hp pump? In the end it is your engine that suffers or gains. I bought a 75-early77 tank and have had no issues. You can always go with a surge tank as well. EFI guys use those when there baffles just wont due. Look up STI options on Google.
  19. They are the same. Same FPR too. Only thing that changed was the fuel injectors themselves.
  20. I know the man selling that car. In my opinion HE IS NOT TO BE TRUSTED. Hes actually not in Oregon city either. I have been told many bad stories from his sales and tactics. I even have a story of my own personal experience with him. I have sold a lot of parts off Hybrid and CL. Some stop by my house. The people who have dealt with him that I have spoken to ALL have bad things to say.
  21. I know you can put earlier model shock isolators in the rear and lower 280z's 1.5" that way without making your suspension softer by cutting coils. Keep an eye out on CL and the for sale part of the forum. I bought a set of lowering springs for $60 and got to check out a DD LS1 sleeper while I was there.
  22. It might help to inform the forum if you need a passenger or driver side, for an R200 or the R180....
  23. Do they have sharp edges like the 82-83? I have three of those.
