  1. Don't get a stock 75-78 Distributor. There a 6-8V EI. There's a few pages here and can be found with Google on replacing it with a 79-83 280zx Dizzy. Full 12V! Some say you NEED the 79-81 version, but any one will work and better than your stocker.
  2. Why so thick BluDestiny? What is your pressure like? Cold/Hot. EDIT: now I read the rest of the thread and see a lot of people are running 20w/50w? Isn't that a bit hard to push through the oil galleys? The thinner it is the more oil you get over your parts, returning to the pan faster and remaining cooler due to a few factors. my 0.02
  3. The place down the street from me wanted $300. I went to home depot, bought some muriatic acid for $10 and cleaned it myself. There are directions online. To get the last bit of water out after rinsing the tank I would use a high percentage rubbing alcohol and go from there.

I wonder if one of those other auto's that use the OD box might have a tube and dipstick that would fit your needs? I would think the more you bend the tube, the less reliable the reading would be.
  5. Have you tried a locksmith to see if he could key all your locks to match?
  6. Thought id see if anyone had a set they where not going to use, or no more use for. Will be buying some shortly maybe from TTT themselves if no one has a set. Also in need of the Z32 rear calipers. 2 piston design. really looking for aluminum ones but will buy steel if its priced cheap. PM me please. Thanks!
  7. Might want to state if its a driver side or passenger side.
  8. Home depot usually carry's "Standered" size hardware. You will need Metric. Call around hardware stores and see if they have a metric bolt isle. Bring your bolt with you and make sure your thread will mesh into the other one by putting the bolts opposite each other and lay the threads together. If they wont go in the whole length of the bolt, than its not the right one. Not 100% but from memory I thought it was a 8mmx1 pitch. not sure of the length. Good luck EDIT: I'm guessing the bolts your buying have dash marks on the head rather than a decimal number? That would confirm if this is your problem.
  9. Lookin for springs again. Getting closer to bolting on the coil overs. Just bought a pair of 225's still looking for 200's
  10. Yeah thats what I said. I had to wait while they got it out of Cali as well.
  11. I needed one a few months back. The best way for me was to go to Nissan. I think it was $8 I tried a U Pull It. They had one car. but I couldn't get it off, even after I just clamped on to it for spite. Still wouldn't move.
  12. Not into electric fuel pumps?
  13. Yeah in 3.54... That's what I've got in there now. Still looking.
  14. Bump, still have the 500's for trade as well.
  15. On one of those horsepower shows they said to be sure the grease fitting is in a position so that the drive line forces compresses at the grease hole. If your U joint is clocked wrong, it can pull at the grease hole and possibly braking your U joint from being pulled apart. Id get one with a grease fitting as you don't have to remove to lube and make sure its installed in the proper orientation. thats something I never thought of before, but make sure its done this way every time now. That being said, The only U joint I broke was on install. lol
  16. you probably have a big hole for leaded gas. The mid 70's change witch could have happened in 76... Was to prevent some one from putting leaded gas in a car with a catalytic converter, thus plugging it up. Unleaded cars came with the small holed filler. Why are you wanting to change?
