  1. You should do some research. I remember reading one year is different than the rest. GLW your search
  2. Its all steal. It can be fixed. The technology is there, but add cost/vs time then multiply by three... I just didn't like "can't". You can polish a turd to shine. I seen it on T.V. +1 Hes probably got $4000+ in the motor though. When ever I go buy a car I bring a weak thin refrigerator magnet the credit cards send you... You know... See if there's any spots the magnet doesn't even try to stick to, or just clings and slides indicating filler of some sort.
  3. Maybe 355datsun280z is confusing JTR with the Scarab conversion. I wanted to make my own, but after I dropped the motor and trans is there on jacks I decided to go the prefabbed route. I'm a decent welder but I'm no match to keep up with CNC'd aluminum look. $100 well spent. Anyone ever heard a HP rating on these? Just curiosity.
  4. Yo skib! I've got those! Shoot me an email let me know when your stopping by, I have to head to west linn for some springs this weekend. I tried sending a PM but got "Internal error"
  5. Sorry for the late reply. There is a part number on your AFM It starts with an A**-***
  6. Well my plan didn't work... I can either weld up my old mounts or buy some. Im hoping someone has some JTR mounts they would sell reasonably. PM me, have cash.
  7. Sweet. Glad I could poke in the right direction. lol I hate buying parts I dont need.
  8. huh? An 82-83 ZXT distributor has no mounting block. It is a direct fit. You must mean the 81 dizzy if its a turbo? I have never seen one in person, but assume there like the rest of the normal non-CAS dizzy's
  9. The first one I got was all marked up on the polished tanks and a bunch of bent fins that didn't look good. The seller was very helpful and shipped one to me with a return label in the box to return the old one with. Just the way it should be. Sadly some Ebayers are not so easy to return things. Making you pay for return shipping and waiting to recive it to finaly ship your product. The seller had clearly posted, "return for any reason". I believe within 60 days! A rarity.
  10. Well after striping one and then breaking it off... and finally getting it removed. Where do you buy new ones? Its the long ones that gave me all the crap. I have to get new waste gate housing bolts as well, but I imagine I can just use some 10.9 grade bolts and call it good. Any input would be great. Thanks
  11. For a quick fix I filled what I needed to with JB weld, or use epoxy. They even make a material for filling in runners in intakes and heads. Getting it welded might be cheaper than that last option though. There is almost no filler showing and its dark so its not noticeable. I also cut the heating passage on the throttle body and flipped it over. Ran a $4 bike shifter cable and a 50 cent crimp from the pedal to the stock location on the throttle body. looks clean as the crimp is hidden by the boot on the fire wall. Lokar cable, HA! hardest part is getting the cable just the right length, took about 10 mins. I wish I had a better picture, its cleaner that how it sounds. The block off plate on the air bypass it temporary untill the MS2 install
  12. I sad Thanks, but still looking. I believe that $120 is just to high for stock steel. I have a CLSD with finned cover and CV axles up for trade on an aftermarket turbo if that raises any eyebrows...
  13. Ok, well I have no problem braking out the welder for some modifications then for a flange change. Im sure someone out there has a sweet turbo deal there willing to pass on. But will even buy a stocker if I find one real cheap. Dont let my penny pinching words scare anyone. Id pay some good money on a sweet turbo. Just can't stand to pay MSRP!
  14. Id like to find an aftermarket, non Ebay cheapo. I still have enough parts to make a good turbo I have already rebuilt. but to much work for not enough gain in my opinion. Thank you, but still looking.
  15. Hoping to find a replacement turbo to the one im tired of messing with. Looking for something similar to stock than anything huge. I like the quick boost of a stocker, not planing more than 15psi on my L28ET. Let me know what you have, new or used. Cash in hand. PayPal loaded up. Id like not to have to modify my MSA downpipe, but will if I have to. Thanks
  16. buy a nice 2 row radiator off Ebay. I bought a three row from the same source. The Champion radiator is what I bought 8 out of 10 for quality. witch is great considering there under $200
  17. With prices according to the posted rules...

If I remember correctly, they also have smaller valves in stock form as they come off of a 2.4L motor But can be made bigger at the time of a rebuild.
  19. I have one A cam from the N47 I have but its toasted! As for getting a custom cam, That sounds like a shot in the dark to me. I have no idea the amount of back pressure I have is and im always screwing with stuff. I may see if I can find an A cam, without having to spend to much cash for it.
