  3. Do you know how thick the Ishino gasket is? Great price on that gasket btw, I just might order 3 or so for tuning!
  4. One question, when doing the fuel tank in a 280z car is there any prep? I know there is a screen in there, but you have to cut the tank to get to it. (my other Z I had to cut the top open and re weld to get to the screen)
  5. I thinned mine out to spray it with just a little laq thinner. Very little in fact, and it sprayed on very nice with my $30 gun. Prob wouldn't use a good gun with this.
  6. Its missing the plastic res... Maybe another parts store has it.
  7. I just wanted to say I love it. I used the high temp manifold paint on a couple of turbo manifolds. Also painted my oil pan and soon engine block with it. It sprays on very well, way better then brushing, although you can only brush on the high temp.
  8. Need the one with 2 reservoirs for my brake swap. Looking for a cheap one, used is fine, as long as its works and is pretty clean. TIA.

All of a sudden the car just started acting really weird, the tach will just jump to 3000, and jump all around, (which is wrong, because the car is in neutral and you can tell its idleing) car stumbles and then all of a sudden it will go back to normal, for a few seconds, then go crazy again. Is my car possessed? L28, stock everything except, 280zx dissy upgrade, 280zx alt upgrade, fusible link upgrade. I did the alt/fusable link upgrade today, thinking that was the issue, but i'm leaning more twards the 280zx dissy, could the module be going bad? BTW, alt / fusable link upgrade is a MUST!
  14. I've never seen anyone doing a swap say "man, i blew my engine cause of that darn oil pump" yet at least. I'm sure it flows more, and it was just precautionary.
  15. Have you tested compression? What color smoke? You lined up the timing marks when installing the chain?

  17. That turbo is made for HIGH boost, you need to port the wastegate for your "tiny" engine to be able to handle it. If I remember, you have to port it almost the full size of the puck to get manageable boost. Sounds like he don't trust bigphil
  18. 240sx TPSs are nice, not the best but no modding required and cheap!

  21. I've just heard a lot of people say to get a new pump rather then reuse the old one. I guess I can check tolerances on the old one and it should be OK.

  23. Are they tough to rebuild? Better off getting a new one? There is some off-brand ones on ebay which look kinda scary. Whats the diff from the regular and turbo pumps? Just higher volume?
  24. Sorry to bring up this old thread, but where can you find the HKS waste gates still, was going to try the knockoff BOV on siliconintakes.com and then maybe use what bigphil did, the T3 to T3 adaptor with wastegate flange on it. TIa
  25. Were building MS2, what mods are required? Also do you not need the EDIS module then?
