  1. 253RWHP @12psi with base FR @43psi. D/C is overrated, injector pulse is where is at.
  2. Not if the leaks at the charge pipe. Yeah, you guys are right, I/C leak will make it run richer. AFM does go WOT under boost though. So the ECU pretty much relies on rpm signal only.
  3. I would check for IC piping leak. Other than that, running leaner on IC'ed air (denser) makes since to me.
  4. my 60-1 was crammed in .60 ar B housing. 8)
  5. I've seen H trim in a T3 housing too. Efficiency isn't so good though. To4B housing should fit with miniumal mdd.
  6. http://z31.com/oboard/archives/view.pl?53
  7. You guys running 2mm restrictor on the turbo oil feed line? It stopped my oil smoke. As for the valve stem seals, I ran one from an escort or something like that.
  8. On 4G63, the wristpins are offset by 1mm toward exhaust side which suppose to suspend the pistons up in TDC longer to reduce detonation/knock. I think the peak power is regulated by the intake and headflow so without changing all those components, I would think revving higher wouldn't be much gain.
  9. E, just bring it. You know how to find me. Maxima Alt is a direct swap after swapping the pulley. I'll help you do it sometime
  10. 87-88 were high impedent (spell) injectors wasn't it? get a N/A and get them reprogram for Cobra MAF 8)
  11. 7.4 is a solid 11 sec run. 1/8mi ETx 1.5= 1/4 mile ET is a rough guesstimate
  12. My 60-1 spooled 3500rpm or so (never really had time to pay attention. ) and that's bigger wheel than any E trim wheels so you should be spooling faster than that. Even with bigger T04E housing. Retarding timing into boost suppose to help spool if you got a standalone. Good boost controller will make difference too. I had TurboXS unit and that helped some I believe. Lockjaw ran To4E 60 trim with stage V wheel and that spooled before 4000rpm I think. (where is he anyway)
  13. me can't see either. 84mph is low for 300RWHP.
  14. I read somewhere having a 1 bar WG helps control the boost with EBC. That's what I run with my Blitz EBC.
  15. May be the gate is blowing open. tighten down the WG and turn down the EBC's response or gain
  16. packing grease in the oil pump gear does the trick on 4G63.
  17. Fresh oil and oil filter since all that broken turbo parts drain back into the oil pan. I always prelube the turbo before installation. that's just me though
  18. Here is couple things. Looks like the power is peaking early. 220 at 5000rpm. Could be from going rich there A/F ratio or the cam timing is little on advance side.
  19. I ran 8:1 150psi or so when I was running no ping. You are just good Jersey
  20. I would check the compressor side for oil. if it sounds like it's howling, the thrust bearing is going out and won't last long that way. And vhevk your engine oil for metal flakes
  21. I need to find my dyno graph to really show why I needed more timing but before I raise the timing, the power band was real erratic. looked like the flame was getting blown out. So we (dyno operator and I) gapped the plug down redynoed, same result. Then check the base timing and it was up to fatory spec (or something close) so I turned alittle to add timing. And yes gained alot of power and the curve really smooth out. But I'm don't want to recommend anyone to add timing because I gained HP from it. Remember I was working with real conservative stock Z31 ECU timing. And With EMS, you are and should be retarding timing via pressure and airflow. prolly 30-35deg cruise timing, and 24deg WOT depending on the rpm. (I was told should be less after the peak VE) if you are getting 24 deg under cruise condition, you'll waste alot of gas. Here is my Talon's timing. 35 deg under cruise, 22-23 WOT decreasing toward 17 at redline. with 10 deg at idle.
  22. Well, The graph looks like it's not a dynojet. The dynojet is optimistic with the number than others. So can't really compare with the dynojet graph. And the turbo holding 12psi at redline? could be that boost isn't holding. And we don't know the trim on that hybrid turbo. I was running 60-1 and that's alot bigger than V trim. And stock turbine wheel will make less power than bigger turbine wheel. Prolly not much less at that power level. Also he's little on rich side, less power. May be, go back to dyno and see if timing helps on the dyno but it's not safe to start adding timing without knowing if there is a knock or not. We have blown a turbo B16a by adding too much timing (27 deg) a day after a dyno. my 2 cent.
  23. what kind of boost controller and who makes the racegate (tourbonetic?) Anyway, the WG should not stay open at all at idle.
