  1. Good morning, I am doing the same but with out the ITBs. Did you make your own loom or did you modify the stock? I am the type that would rather make it then pay for it... But also want to finish this thing up. Any suggestions you have would be great. Please put up some more pictures. Love your car, my friend.
  2. We'll done, do you have pictures of the motor mounts? Trans mount? Cross member?
  3. I have been watching your build(s). I have been building a VQ35DE for a year now. I have found that real N/A power comes from the head work, cams, and a stand alone ECU, with the help of alot of compression. I am looking at 13.5-14:1 compression. All this is more important with dynamic compression and with the adjustable cams. I believe a real monster of a motor would be: VQ35HR block and heads, VQ40DE crank, custom K1 rods or Pauter rods (Both the lightest I can find), CP Custom pistons (13:1 com), E85 fuel or C16, 1000cc injectors, Haltech ECU and with custom JWT cams. I would port the heads alot, with over sized valves, then send them out to be extrude honed.
  4. I love everything you do. Do you mind me asking what you do for a living? Your fab skills are the best I have seen.
  5. I would love a truck like this... Everything looks great.
  6. I have used copper ones many of times. The problems are sealing the water. With heat cycling and retorking this is solved. Custom solid copper is the most coat efective but, comes with problems. Sorry about the grammer and spelling, I have had one too many.
  7. I look forward to this swap. I love the CT26, it would be a monster on that motor. Good luck.
  8. Very nice project. What fuel filter are you using?
  9. I agree... You should cut the springs or get different ones. O and the weather is much nicer now/today.
  10. I like it very nice work.
  11. I ran a Carter Rotory pump. Best most reliable pump I have ever ran. Once again make sure what ever you run is 3.5psi only.
  12. I love what you are doing with this project. I just wanted to let you know that a company named Dailey Engineering makes an oil pan and oil pump together for a dry sump system. This system is really whaat you should looks at, it is art work. http://www.daileyengineering.com/dailey_engineering_home.htm https://www.fontananissanracing.com/Dry_Sump_Oil_Pan___Pump.html
  13. I really like the above. Although, I am looking the solution below. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ELI-99610/?rtype=10
  14. I have been thinking of this for years. I keep coming back to machining a set or finding another car that has some and trying to addapt them to the Z. I hope some has some information on this.
  15. Good luck on this. I hope it works out.
