My problem with the host is... A. He doesn't seem to know that much about drag racing or cars but acts as though he does. B. He puts on a tough guy act that portrays drag racing in the wrong light. Other things I don't care for... 1. They don't use the track x-mas tree and timing system. Why not? 2. The whole "negotionation" thing. Just "run what you brung" or get lost. If you want to run unmatched cars then do it bracket style, complete with making losers of those who bust their dial-in. Really, is it street racing or bracket racing... make up your mind. 3. Where they decide to stick commercials; right at the launch of nearly every race. The can put them before the launch and still get you to watch the commercials. The way it is now is just irritating, and kind'a insulting.

I would have loved to see the ressurected "Z" looking like this... With a RB24DETT under the hood. (An engine of my imagination) At first I hated everything about the 350Z, but the styling has grown on me a bit since then. I guess I hated it at first because I was hoping for something a little more 240Z-ish. But, I still hate the door handles and the marker lights, but most of all I hate the v-6. An RB-series engine would have been a far better choice, but I guess there's not enough room in that stubby nose for an I-6.

That is one sweet looking Z, but I wonder if the brake rotors would have a greater tendency to crack with those sharp edged "Z" logos carved in them. I really love that TWM induction system. I wish I had the cash for something like that.

I really wasn't looking for a list of good DVD's, I was just pointing out that after a long wait, both the Pulse and Grand Prix DVD's are finally coming out.

I'm not a huge fan of the show. I don't care for the host and this "negotiation" silliness, but I would like to see the Hybridz Team show. Apparently the new season of Pinks starts this Wednesday (July 12). Does anybody know if the first episode will be the one featuring the Hybridz Team?

Live at Earls Court 20.10.94, London") And if that doesn't do it for you, how about the second greatest racing movie ever made (Nothing tops "Deathrace 2000." ): John Frankenheimer's "Grand Prix" Both these will be availible at Best Buy for $15.00 each. (Pretty cheap for two-disk DVD's) While you're at it, you might as well pick up Neil Young - Heart of Gold too.

I work 36 hours/week, but I'm paided for 40 hours. The four free hours are the "Shift-Differential" or encouragement to work the odd shift (Friday thru Sunday 6:00pm to 6:00am (3-12's) ). Overtime: I probably average about 12 hours a month.
