  1. Man, that AZC stuff is too pretty to put under the car.
  2. Nice! I wish mine was that and rust-free (all I see is light surface rust). A little clean-up, a new door and some paint and that thing is going to be awesome. Congrats!
  3. http://www.zcars.org.uk/mini/index.htm Click for video click for another video (more action in this one)
  4. I hear you brother. I'm in the same boat.
  5. ZdayZ at the Tail Of The Dragon 2005: Here's a video 350Z on the Tail Of The Dragon. 15mb Here's a bunch of videos of other vehicles on the Tail Of The Dragon.

  7. Funny, but... Commercial Airliners dont have IFF systems. They have "Transponders." IFF is for military aircraft.
  8. That's awesome. Best looking LS1 install I've ever seen. If somebody were to offer either a bolt-in or weld-in kit for the those "strut bars" I would surely crack open my wallet. BTW, where's the brake-booster/master cylinder, and clutch master cylinder?
  9. I hope this hasn't been posted before. Search showed nothing. That's one tough little mower
  10. http://www.autoweek.com/files/specials/2006_newyork/subie/sti/pages/01.htm 2007 Subaru Impreza WRX STI Limited Subaru's WRX STI Limited will be available in the fall in a run of 800 numbered units, 400 in Satin White Pearl and 400 in Urban Gray Metallic. A trunk-mounted lip spoiler replaces the standard model's rear spoiler, and the black aluminum roof vane spoiler is deleted. A new, deep front lip spoiler also differs from the standard model. New Enkei wheels with high-luster paint replace the BBS wheels and black Brembo calipers with white lettering replace the gold and red-painted calipers on the standard WRX STI.
  11. What better way to break in your new DSL... Hans Stuck driving a BMW M3 GTR at the Nurburgring Turn the sound up. Way up.
  12. My only problem going with the LS1 is that I LOVE Inline Six's. But, I would also like to have 300hp, and getting 300hp out of an L-series is problematic for me. I fear Turbo-lag and getting that kinda power without a turbo leaves you with a high-strung, not-street-friendly, engine. An RB26DETT would be a nice alternative, but the cost and technical aspects may be beyond me, or at least beyond the amount of work I want to put into it. Chances are that I'll go with the LS1 or a NA L28 with as much street-friendly HP as I can squeez out of it.
  13. You're right. Here's something a little more helpful. He should move the addition up to cover the rectangular ducts and give the car a little more ground clearance. Like this: I didn't photoshop it, but it would be nice if he also recessed (made flush with the fender) the marker lights.
  14. I hate the turn signals. Might be better off filling the holes and going with 280Z turn signals in the grill area. Like this...
  15. The combination of the rectangular holes above the oval holes doesn't work. Plus, that add-on doesn't fit properly. I'm also betting that he never met a speed-bumb he could climb.
  16. The long hood line is one of things that makes a Z a Z.
  17. I'm very conservative when it come to car paint and prefer subtle solid colors, but I realize other don't feel the same and actually like thier cars to look like easter eggs. I guess that's okay on show cars and race cars but I think street cars look better with one solid color. Having said that... Rally stripes are about the only "graphic" I come close to liking. If you must paint it "Arrest-Me-Yellow" ( ), and have stripes, then go with the standard black rally stripes. The other's are too busy.
  18. I haven't "firmed-up" my decision yet. I know it will not be any kind of I-4 or V-6. It will either be... NA L28 (possibly stroked). LSx + T56 L28ET (possibly stroked). What I have now is an unstroked L28 with 40mm Webers.
  19. Click me you painted egg eating fool.
  20. When I posted the "blasphemous" coment, I mistakenly thought they had pulled an I6 and stuck in an I4. Note: I've seen S50B32 (Euro Evo2 3.2) go for less than $7000.00 on eBay. This is how you do an engine swap on an e30... ...or maybe like this... ...or even like this...
  21. Given a choice, I'd take a Corvair. What really impresses me, and interest me in this "Hybrid," is the level and quality of the engineering that went into it. Read the whole article, you'll see what I mean.
  22. Are you comparing a Z to a Neon? Man, that's like comparing a Ferrari to a toaster oven, an ugly toaster oven. Anyway, neat Hybrid, except for the Neon half.
