Ok so I go to town tonight to get some food and rent a movie with my girlfrend. On my way out of town I see this really sweet early 70's Stingray. Its a dark red but it has a special kind of paint on it where in certain lights it looks almost like velvet, you know how velvet kinda changes color when you rub your hand over it, its kinda like that. I could also see that it has full stainless steel exhaust that was polished! $$ $$. And from the way it sounded it had a very very healthy engine under the hood...aka big cam! So I'm following it in my truck and this Ford Probe with a fart can(one of those annoying "performance mufflers for ricers") decides that it wants to mess with this Stingray! So they both get stopped at the next light and both have a car in front of them. Well the light turns green and the car in front of the Stingray moves over in the other lane. So the Stingray kinda gets on it and pulls away pretty quick. Well I dont know what this guy in the Probe was thinking but he decides that its time to race, so he floors it and all I can see is a HUGE cloud of smoke(oil) come billowing out of his "muffler". Well the guy in the Stingray must have heard this guys fart can making all the noise cause as soon as the guy in the Probe floored it the guy in the Stingray floored it too and took off like the Probe wasnt even moving! It was hillarous. My girlfriend who doesnt know anything about cars was even asking me....."ah what the hell does this guy think hes doing? he's never going to catch him!" I was like "well hes what we call domestic rice. He doesnt have a clue that his car is slow and that he will never catch that guy in the Stingray" After about 1/2 mile the guy in the Probe decided that the race was over when he could hardly see the Stingray's tail lights any more! LOL What a joke! It's kind like when the Z24 Cavalier tried to race me........It was just plain old pathetic! I mean really what kind of drug would you have to be on to think your Probe could keep up with a Stingray? This Stingray was not an ordinary Stingray either, you could tell that this guy had some serious money into that car! I mean who has a polished stainless steel exhaust! I would have though twice about messing with him even in my 280ZX-LT1...although I still would have messed with him. Execept I would have really gave him a run for his money! Guy

I was thinking about selling my truck because I am sick of making payments on it. I still owe the bank some money on it though. So how do I sell it? Can I just sell it and then pay the bank loan off? Well I think I drove my car for the last time this year today. The weather is still fine and it usually is for till about early november but I have a few problems that I really need to fix before I continue driving it. I have to get some headers for it because the exhaust leak on the passenger side is just plain embarassing! It is also missing on atleast 1 cylinder but this is only sometimes. This could be due to that header I have on the passenger side. It gets really hot and it has already melted 2 of my wires. I also think I need to get it on a dyno with a A/F ratio meter because it sure is running rich! I might need new o2's though because of when I didnt have my IAC motor hooked up right and it always ran at like 1200rpms at the stop signs Basically I think Im not going to drive it until its completly done...all my body work, paint, new tires, headers, new seats, and some tint! Now I just need to start making some money so that I can buy all the stuff I need! I wish I could continue driving it but it just isnt as much fun as it should be. The paint is horrible, its running like crap and that friggin exhaust leak has really gotten the best of me. I just need to take some time off from the car and start saving up $$$ so that I can buy the parts this winter. Hopefully I will still have my car done before Tim though , J/K Tim! LOL Guy

A few thousands on the rotors or drums shouldn't make you pedal easy to push down. The rear brakes are what control pedal height. Are the drums resurfaced? Are you sure it isnt the master cylinder? To check the master... run the car so that the booster is full of air...then shut the engine off and pump the brakes up...does the pedal, A.) get hard after a few pumps and stay hard? B.) continues to stay soft no matter how long you pump it up? If A...now turn the engine back on and while holding the pedal down with a firm but not extremely hard foot...does the pedal go to the floor? If so then your master is ok. If B....your master is junk. Hope that helps, Guy

So for a good paintball set up I should buy... The Tippman A-5... Flatline Barrel... A remote bottle set up?... Electronic Trigger.... What about Lazer sites? Are they worth it? What will I need to make mine run on HPA? Like should I buy a filling station? Are there any fittings or special things needed to run on HPA? Since the A-5 has a ball loader will I need anything else as far as loader is concerned? Thanks guys for all the help! Guy

Yeah I have been looking at those Tippman A-5's and 98's tonight and reading up on them. They "seem" to be a good gun for a begginer like myself or for someone who doesnt want to spend and arm and a leg on a gun. I really need a gun with some long rage ability because we will be playing in the woods. There are a few natural obsticles in the woods like a few hills, lots of huge Pine trees, a few turned over tree stumps with 1/2 of the roots out of the ground(kinda like a natural wall), and I also have a huge deer stand that can be used! I am thinking a Tippman with a Flatline barrel or a sniper barrel. I just cant decied! I do have time on my side though. So I am deffinetly going to be on the look out for a good deal on one! Just need to start saving up some $$$ for one! What do you other guys think of the Tippmans? Guy

Well I dont plan on playing on a paintball field. I live on a 25 acre plot of woods. So I have my own paintball field. Me and like 6-7 of my friends are going to get them and use our land as paintball fields! I'm not paying to shoot my friends! LOL So worrying about walls and other paintball field objects are not really a cocern. I remeber about 3 years ago when I was looking into them I fould a gun that I really like but I cant remeber what it was called? It was something like "ATF...." or "AFR....." something like that? Joe you know what I am talking about? I think it was supposedly used by the army for training? Yeah I know I was looking up those ANGEL guns and holly cow those are some expensive guns! Well after seeing a paintball gub in action yesterday I have decided to get one for next spring. I just want to know which ones are good ones and which ones are jam-o-matics! Here's what I want... 1.) Easy mantaince 2.) Optional firing rates...semi auto and full auto 3.) A good BPS rate(balls per second) 4.) Oh and something that is under say $300'ish I just am not sure which brands are good and whicn ones have reputation for being cheap junk! The paintball gun that I saw in action yesterday was a Tippman A-5. Man that thing could shoot flat(so it doesnt shot paintballs like a rainbow!) for like 65+ yards! Also what is the big deal with N20 in paintball guns. Is CO2 that bad? Thanks, Guy

Ditto what Denny411 said. I think your moving way to fast and I did the same thing. I got lucky though and didnt make any major mistakes that could have caused me any harm. Things like struts(coilovers) and brakes should be done at a slow pace and you should be double checking everything you do. you dont want a strut(coilover) to fall off the car do you! Or for your brake system to fail! Like everyone is saying step back and dont let a car get the best of you and your dad. The only reason I have my car is because my dad pasted away when I was 17(Im 21 now). There isnt a day that goes by that I wouldnt trade my car for my dad. Dont let a car ruin your relationship with your dad. There will always be another Z! Guy

There is no Scarab engine. Scarab was the first company to make an install kit and install V8's into the Z's. Its more like a mouting position of the V8. Guy
