  1. Someone, some where may like this car, but it is not me. All I see is a ton of work, and it is sad because that is one ugly car. I am sure someone will say the something about my Z when I am finished. To each his own!
  2. Kurt is very busy, but he is also very serious about modding these pans, which could potentially save some people a lot of money. You can vist his site, http://www.Kmotorwerks.com, where you can find his number. I have talked to him and he told me that he does not get on the forums as often as he wants. I suggest giving him a call or email, if you need more info.
  3. Mike Rowe is my Hero!
  4. That is a coilover set-up. Not a bad way to go if you do not plan to section. I think you would have to remove the lower spring perch. I would wanna know what the spring rates are. Looks like shocks and this kit: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Racing-Dual-Coil-overs-Coilovers-DATSUN-240Z-70-74-NEW_W0QQitemZ390108170342QQcmdZViewItemQQptZMotors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories?hash=item5ad4424866
  5. I believe he wants to run the vented rotors. How much of an upgrade would the S12 calipers/non-vented rotors be compared to stock?
  6. A wide band is an absolute must. I am sorry you even spent money on the Narrow band. It reads from 13 to 15 AFR, so about the only thing its good for is a light show. I will admit, when I boosted my first car, I had a narrow band gauge, needless to say that engine is no longer with us. I suggest either buying a wide band or taking your car to a tuner and have them tune it. Oh, and Congrats on your Megasquirt install. That is am accomplishment in and of its self.

    It Works!

I built a Megasquirt System using EDIS on a CA18DET, so I know how wonderful it is when everything comes together. I wanted to tell everyone. I think it is something to be proud of. Congratulations on your success, now comes the other fun part, Tuning!
  8. You could be having a problem with the reaction disc, this is a common problem and one that has been covered on here. I would shoot you a link but I do not have one.
  9. I am not a carb guy, yet I think that is sexy. You may have to write the book on this one, that's strait JDM, at least that's the only place I have seen it done. Good luck with the build. Sorry I cannot give any good advice, but I think you should do it.
  10. Well said, what a waste of amazing talent. Incredible impressive, none the less.
  11. Wow, very nice! Lets see the rails. I may have to do some searching for a place similer in my area. Thanks for the good info!
  12. Thank You! This K.I.S.S logic for sure
  13. I second that.... this is exactly what I need. It may look red, but it is very functional. +1 for getting the job done! and I would kick a kids without question for even thinking about a little push! I wanna see more pics.
  14. RS Speed you may wanna just ask you question again in a fresh thread...lol.... I feel kinda bad now...HA
  15. Dude, your thread got raped! Really, more like a train got ran on it.... and I was a part of it! LMAO
  16. Sorry about the bad pic.... gotta love cell phone pics... lol
  17. That is pretty much my same Toyota mod list. Atleast you have your Z done. I am just getting started on mine. I just sold my last project, 95 240sx with a turbo KA. Tuned with Nistune it made 418 whp and 455 tq on 23 psi with race gas. Here is a video of the dyno:
  18. I sometimes have a hard time focusing on one hobby when I have so many. I have a list of mods for my truck, but its my DD so I try to leave it alone. One day I will get the wife a new car and I will drive the X and throw the wrenches at the Toyota. Ok, now I have to go out and geta Z R/C.... I can't keep up with you. Oh, and Boostiswhatsfordinner just posted a thread about Yotas in the non-tech section. HAHA
  19. You are gonna make me go drag mine out. What are they... Tamiya, Kyosho, other? I would love to have one of my truck. So freakin cool. R/C has changed so much i the past 10 years. The last one I bought was a Revo.... had it for a few months and sold it. I have never been a huge fan of nitro. I always liked eclectic much more. I still have my stadium truck.... Losi XXT-CR... it was pimp back in the day. I have a 3 year old son and he loves it.
  20. I worked at a hobby shop for two years and raced R/C cars.... I want a R/C rock crawler. No shepherd, we currently have Weiner dog, but our next dog will be an Australian Shepherd. My wife used to have German Shepherd. Are we having one of those weird internet connections..... am I gonna have to fly to L.A. HAHA
  21. If I was not at work reading on Hybrid, lol, I would go take a pic of mine. $460 for your wheels... WOW... I guess that was courtesy of your friend at the wheel shop. I would pay that right now for them. Please tell me that the Xterra is your wife's. My wife drives an Xterra. HaHa
  22. This thread makes me wanna go take a pic of my Yota and my Z. RS Speed... well, I think you know I want the look of your car, so I was considering buying some zero offset wheels and throwing on some spacers, but the spacers are expensive. Between cheap wheels and expensive spacers, one could buy a nice set of wheels. Oh and I am sorry that I can not help answer your question. Apparently no one can, as you are yet to get a good answer. lol!
  23. I built a Megasquit systems using EDIS 4 on a CA18DET for a customer. Worked out great. The EDIS system is really simple once you figure it out. It was my first Megasquirt build and I had relatively few problems. I do not know much about the GM set-up, so I can not say much about it.
