  1. Sorry for all the questions, but I would someday like to have a similar setup on my Z. So do you run 8" coils in the back to clear the tires like Pete P? and what is the back spacing on the wheels? Again sorry for all the guestions.
  2. Mark 17x9 with stock fenders ? You must have coil overs, what size of tire? It should look good.
  3. One more ? Are pana sports like that big bucks$$$? I wonder if they would look good on my car?
  4. Did you get my e-mail? Your pan is almost done, Just working on the trap doors. How is your project comming? I still need to make my oil pan, down pipe ,Drive shaft and it should be ready to fire.
  5. That is a nice set up, what kind of turbos dose it have? I know the motor is built up right? Have you had it to the track? Do you know what it dose in the 1/4?
  6. That wing is like around 100LBS, right? I have seen people sitting on them before. And the bumps on the fenders are to clear the tall tires that they used when they raced them, right?
  7. Stony, how streetable is your setup? You should have around 450-475hp at the flywheel.
  8. You just cut off your old pearch and weld on the ring that comes with the kit. Not too hard, I sand blasted and POR15ed my strut tubes too. I run Ground Controll coilovers and I like them.
  9. For the LSD you want to look for a 87 and up Turbo 300ZX. and an M-bar from a 280Z to bolt it up. As for the shafts you can run CV's with a kit from Ross C. He also sells brake kits. http://www.modern-motorsports.com
  10. "Guest" I dont think I will make it to socal , But what do you got?
  11. If you are ever in Winnipeg drop me a line. I might take it to some Z meet too some day.
  12. So my Z made it to a car show (World of Wheels) and got first place in a category that my car was the only one in, so that dose not say much. The car was not even running lots of work to do still, but people liked it anyway. Here are some photos. http://www.hybridz.org/phpBB2/album_pic.php?pic_id=731 http://www.hybridz.org/phpBB2/album_pic.php?pic_id=730 http://www.hybridz.org/phpBB2/album_pic.php?pic_id=734[/img]

    Another Z

You can have the carb set up from my 73, it was running when I pulled the motor out for my swap. say 50$.....?
  14. Look here http://www.hybridz.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=93688&highlight=#93688
  15. You could use RX7 injectors. I have some RC 550cc injectors for my RB, took out the old 440cc. But I think they might be sold.
  16. There are some Z's in the 9's with R200's in the rear, it that is the question. I should have 400hp @ the wheels with my RB26 some of the things I have done to handle the power are -2"x3" frame connectors -Rear disks (need better front brakes too) -R200 diff -I will be running Z31 CV's soon -GC coilovers / 5-way's -I will install a cage too some day soon
  17. Yep mine look just like the ZXT's, I wonder if the ZXT kit would work? It is hard to find ZXT CV's now days.
  18. I have a set of non-turbo Z31 CV's and it dose not look like the 3-bearing (ball thing?) is offset to gain the room I might need. Is it only the turbo CV's that will flip? Will my non-turbo CV's fit with Ross C adapters? Any info would help.
  19. I think he puts out over 500 @ the wheels. He runs a R230 in the rear from a 300ZXTT. Nice car take a look. http://www.darius240z.com
  20. If you are going to shave the side markers off the fenders I would use the 240Z air dam so you can have the wrap around turn signals, then people can still see them from the side of your car.
  21. So what is the 280Z like? is it in good shape? Now the fun starts
