  2. Yep, I've seen Marko's car in person. That is one IMPRESSIVE streetcar. And its been runnning 8's for a couple years now. Must be pretty reliable.

  4. Doc, how do they keep the consistency of the mud the same everytime you race? I would think that could have a lot to do with how quick you're able to run. Seems logical that thicker=faster.
  5. hmm, never seen swing out doors like on the rear of that car . . . that would really help when i'm trying to squeese boxed up tranny's in the back of my Camry. HAHA
  6. I couldnt tell you about the quality just from looking at it. I'm not typically one to be negative about any new products for the L28, but those claims are ridiculous! "STOCK TURBO, PORTED HEAD, PORTED INTAKE, WITH 9LB OF BOOST AND MADE 317HP TO THE REAR WHEELS" a stock zxt motor makes what, 160hp? wow, 2lbs of boost, port work and that manifold produced 150+hp? "HEADERS HAVE MADE OVER 800HP ON FULLY BUILT MOTORS " and those cars would be . . . .where? Anyways, it would be nice to see someone get some REAL numbers for one of these . . .
  7. one issue you'll have with the supra injectors is the connectors. If you are purchasing the injectors alone. They are not standard bosch clips. I believe I have a set here to fit the supra injectors. PM me if you're interested.
  8. interesting intake manifold on that motor. We only got it on the VG30e Maximas. Never seen it on a turbo motor.
  9. Ditto, I saw it too. The Z was still trapping in the 115mph range in its poor running state. So keep that in perspective when you see the Monte put all those cars on it. The night before our trap speed was about 10mph faster.

  11. I will be going to the shop on monday/tuesday when they get back from Vegas. they should have the first run done and the pricing all worked out. I will post here with definite prices for this setup off their shelf.

  13. Unfortunately I dont think so . . . I checked one gasket and no good, I gotta take a better look. Compared to the VG30DETT heads these arent as good. They are roller rockers, but the TT heads have bucket/shim design and the TT ports are much bigger. BUT these VE heads ARE about 1.5" thinner and a bit shorter than the TT heads. And I'm sure they flow a TON more than my old L motor!
  14. Well the bell needs to be machined so that the adaptor countersinks into it. You can either ship it to Mazworx or take yours to a local machinist with the adaptor and have them do it. So price is gonna vary.
  15. yeah thats not true. . . what happens on camera is all that happens. there wasnt any other arrangements or commitments done off camera.
  16. they used these suction cup dealies. one on the front glass and one on the rear.
  17. Just want to keep this thread updated . . . The first run should be ready this next week and then I'll have more info on when Mark will have them in stock for future purchases. I'm also going to start a new thread with pics and whatnot of the install.

  20. yeah ive heard about the VTC issues so i may be rebuilding them. . . I think Im gonna run a Ford EDIS wasted spark setup for ignition with MS. I just aquired a VG30DETT motor and I'm sure you're right, It would be great to throw in a set of TT pistons and run some decent boost on this thing. the ports in the head arent nearly as big as the TT motor but Im sure its still capable of 5-600hp, HEHE
