  1. yes i think you could probably make that power on a SOHC KA with that turbo but it wont be anywhere near the rpm you're looking for. Even that SOHC head flows alot better than our L series heads, however due to the displacement loss, you're still gonna be revving it up to make the power. I would try it out and see what ya get.
  2. Awesome! Why dont you bring that beast out to SEZ in march and put me in my place? Oh wait . . . hehe. Man, if we werent friends I'd have to give you a hard time . . .
  3. I remember seeing that video a year or two ago. I believe at one time that was the fastest Audi S in the world (maybe it still is).
  4. Austin's a MPH whore . . . what was that 60' again? haha, j/k My sig should list the important stuff . . . . 11.24@124 w/ 1.75 60' car weighs 2540lbs w/o me.
  5. We just had our first Shelby GT500 come into the shop this weekend, its basically a detuned version of the Ford GT. Car had 300miles on it and put down 456whp and 451ft lbs . . . too bad it weighs like 3800lbs, haha.
  6. Savage, I can only assume that you are talking about running methanol injection not straight methanol. I am currently running meth injection on my L28. Stoic for methanol is 6.5:1, however since you are only injecting a comparatively small amount along with gasoline it only has a small effect on your target AFR's. I tune WOT to about 11.2:1 instead of 11.8:1 I dont think that you should be concerned with a different static compression to run with meth injection. I can buy methanol here for $3 a gallon at my local dragstrip, making it a much better option than race gas for a street car IMO. If its meth injection you're talking about, I wouldnt be overly concerned about added wear on an O2 sensor.

  11. wow for a car that has so much time put in to make it fast, its equally impressive in the looks department. Nice job . . .

  15. I played around with the stock ecu, electronics, turbo, etc for a long time . . . Stock T3 @15psi worked out to 274whp and 320 ftlbs of torque. . .
  16. Somethings wrong with that dyno man . . . 17psi on a t3 = 400+ ft lbs? Dont see how thats possible.

  20. I think you should be looking into some Sprite endorsements . . .
  21. Thanks man, It will probably be wednesday before I can get the dyno sheet posted up. This was on 93 pump and meth injection. I'm happy with where it is currently, I want to make a strong/safe showing at SEZ, but I think when I get back I may finish tuning. I want to make some small fuel adjustments, a little more intensive timing adjustments and another pound of boost or so. I think 450whp should be pretty easy.
  22. I'm running a single -15 nozzle now. Im about 85-90% of gain on my progressive controller. I've been told to shoot for the 11.2 range when on meth injection. I've heard of some DSM guys running up into the high 12's on a regular basis with it. Seems crazy to me.
