  1. Hard to say, I certainly wasnt looking over my shoulder. Id say 3-4 cars and like I said I had the boost turned down, otherwise I would have lit em up at 40mph. Not much to say in reply to the street racing thing other than that it was organized. I called my buddies up and we found an open stretch on highway for the vid. . . Anyways, my R200 died in the process, talk about a racket! That thing is dead.
  2. 3.54 open R200 I'm like 95% sure its dead. I dont see anything crazy happening with the CV's and this is some LOUD clacking and binding happening right in the center of the rear. To be fair I've been pulling shavings out of this diff for over a year now. I dont think its liking my current power/torque. Is this gonna keep happening or was it just time for mine in particular? I'll try to get some pics tomorrow. . .
  3. Well both your turbine and compressor wheels are a bit smaller and less efficient. Your turbo flows 53lbs/min and mine flows 65lbs/min.
  4. Disclaimer: This has a rap song in it. (work safe though) This is my first ever video edit. I'd rate it OK. There is a street race . . . Check it out and tell me what you think!
  5. Mike, I just used a 4" silicone 45 degree bend and a 9" K&N filter (4" inlet, 900cfm). http://www.extremepsi.com/store/customer/product.php?productid=17841&cat=726&page=1 I just pointed it down and away from the turbo. dont have any pics at the moment. You can find some more specs on the blowzilla at cheapturbos.com
  6. Well i was running a 60-1 wheel in a TO4b housing and a stage V turbine wheel in a .63 ar exhaust housing. . . I kinda killed that with too many hot shutdowns so i needed a rebuild . . . while it was in the shop i told them I wouldnt mind upgrading but I did not want to loose any spool. So I kept the exhaust side the same and upgraded the wheel on the compressor side. The "blowzilla" is basically a GT40 wheel in a TO4S housing. So my old 60-1 was 59mm and this one is 61, just a tad bigger. And my 60-1 flowed 61 lbs/min and this one flows 65. So not a huge upgrade just a little bump. I just needed to use a 1/2" spacer for the turbo and ran a 4" intake/filter . . . BTW I'll use this opportunity to plug Speedshopthagard.com When you call just ask for "Big Mamma" Afterall he is the current "king of the L6 hill" haha. Always a pleasure doing business with him.
  7. Ive been so exhausted these past couple days that its just now sinking in . . . I think its worth mentioning how appreciative I am for all the L guys here on this forum. Many of you have taught me alot and are my personal friends. Rick Bowers, Zgad, James and others come to mind. I remember spending hours on the phone with Nathan Hunter "SleeperZ" years ago as he walked me play by play on swapping in a bone stock L28et harness/ECU. Man that seems like a long time ago! Anyways, I never want these kind of accomplishments to come off as cocky or boastful. You guys have helped me alot and I'm thankful for it. With that being said, James, you better watch out. If this car makes it down in the 10's how it sits I'll be very tempted to do the cam and bust yer "King of the L6" title! Hehe . . .
  8. I do . . . a fat wallet and race gas (insert most supra owners here). . . haha. I put $3 worth of methanol in my resevoir and spanked on people to and from Orlando yesterday. On the dyno I made 9 full pulls and i used a little less than 1/2 a gallon.
  9. Well from the looks of our timeslips I'd say i gotcha by 4 tenths already . . . Heres to 40 more horses! No I'm not really trying to be stubborn, I'm just trying to choose my mods carefully. I want to spend money on the things that will carry over in the event of a motor change. At this point I'm not sure what the next move is going to be. I've got a Twin Turbo VG motor sitting on a stand in the garage that I'd like to start playing with in the near future. I really need to just focus on getting the car setup a little better at this point. Next will be some MT 235/60/15 DR's and a twostep to get me outta the hole faster. Afterall dyno numbers are worthless without application. However I have thought about looking for somebody wanting to get rid of a set of upgraded valve springs just so i can rev a tad longer without throwing rocker arms . . . I am running 93 pump gas BTW.
  10. I'm using a setup from Alkycontrol.com IMO and others on this board, this is the best Methanol injection setup available. They took care of all the details and customer support is top notch.
  11. I posted a link to the video back in the first post, check it out.
  12. Sorry for the late reply guys . . . I just got back from ZFest in Orlando and I'm exhausted. Car made a nice little 300mile round trip with a few butt kickings along the way (poor z32 TT's). I WILL have some vids up very soon! When the car comes off the dyno thats what it stays at. One of the big reasons I run meth injection. I really didnt either at first, I've just been making little changes here and there and tuning, tuning, tuning . . . its 2.9xxx I'm using 9mm 240 rods and I bored the block .080 over (88mm Ross Forged pistons) I'm pretty sure TimZ has me beat by a WAYS . . . Yes, please disregard the AFR's on that chart, the shop wideband is on the fritz or something as it reads more than a point lean at times. I just datalogged with my LM-1. The vids are on the way. . . No worries, I'm just picking things up here and there.
  13. Well I'm still at the shop, so here's the sheet real quick. I hit exactly 460whp on the next run but my rpm readings were off and the torque wasnt right, so I just posted this run right before it. This is at 25psi and 22 degrees total timing. I think I can keep going, but I'm done for the night . . . Not bad for a stock head and cam! VIDEO: I'm in the car with a few buddies helping out. My buddy threw this together real quick.

  17. Jerry at DIYautotune is great, got to meet him in person when he helped support us at the Pinks event. He's helped me several times over the phone recently when i've been tuning on MS systems.
  18. I assume thats not a stock automatic . . . I didnt think they could take much power.
  19. Man you are nonstop with the "bigger pics" thing! haha, like every thread. What do you do with them all?
  20. LOL, anyone ever seen that skit on SNL, Debbie Downer? Haha.
