    True that,,, with my issues I am jumping in with both feet. ms3pro, gm 3 bar map, ign-6 coils, IAT, using the 54 mm wheel in the 280zxt distributor. Sequential with COP.

    Thats the exact car that my brother had till the timing belt broke. It was worth $3500 had about 152000 miles on it. Being a one owner car I would try to get as close to $5k as possible. Parents bought him the car for $5400 5 years ago.

    I think that battery will be ok. I ran the Odyssey PC 950 in my 240sx SR20DET that was stolen. Because of the intercooler piping I had to mount the battery on its side to clear. Wish I still had that car!

    Thats great... Nice to have one already setup. I will let you know what I go with. I am looking at MS3, its over the top but I have tried the short cuts and it never works. Going Chevy truck coils for coil on plug and using the sequential setup as well. GM 3bar map, IAT and they said I can use my AEM air/fuel gauges data wire to have a wide band.

    Air dam was a freebie, have no idea what is is. Got it when I bought some fenders. Got the head back on, all buttoned up. Ready to fire. Car will not start. Have no spark. Seems the ecu took a dump. Looking at Megasquirt DIYautotune.

    Got the Felpro gaskets. Well re install this weekend. Will be backing down the timing 2 degrees and try again. I also bought a knocksensor, using a bosch sender. Will see what it says.

    G35 coupe is my moms. Dad put a CAI , spacer on intake other than that stock. Daily I drive what ever is in the yard. Usually the Datsun but the 300zx has been used a lot. Went and looked at a 94 Q45A for $2500. May pick it up for a daily driver. Well today I removed my blown head gasket. Will be reassembling this weekend.

    Well looks like I have a problem. Took the car out for some video and an errand and it started smoking. Here are some pics of plug, and video. Going to do a leak down test to determine more of what it is. As you can see a little wet with oil. Can only be ring/piston, guide or seal. There are no metal noises and there was no bang during operation so has to be seal I am guessing. The video is over 3 minutes.     Well driving the car today and it started smoking. Have oil on #5 spark plug. Will do a leak down test and see what happened. Either a valve seal/guide, rings or piston. No parts that I could tell broken in cylinder. No noises or marks on the plug , but the car will not restart. Here is a video. Saw smoke coming out the back of the car and pulled off on the shoulder, car was still running. Checked everthing but car will not restart. Towed home and will look into it this week. I will post a video of the cruise.

    Looking at getting fender flares now. Want to get large tires on the rear! Figure now is the time since planning body work and paint.

    Cool,,, glad you made it. Gotta fix the exhaust leak. Very dangerous and the headache sucks that you get from the CO2.

    Cool with the 901 rear,, my dad has told me stories about them doing that in the 70's. Put a 5 speed in a bay window, used a tow vehicle for there race car. I think he has a pic in an album somewhere

    The five wires 2 green, blue/red, white, yellow is definitely for the fuel pump relay. You can live with out that and wire pump to ign on, till you get everything setup Do you have the relay for the ignition wires

    Ha..... I have a L26 motor that came in my 260z. I put a P90 turbo head that has been modified. The harness I used is from an 82, used a 83 distributor oil pump setup to have the optical reader for the ecu ignition. Ran a 83 turbo ecu. Now have z31 ecu, with z32 maf. My stock wiring has 2 fusible links.
