what 5 speed? Bergs is about $2000 grand in parts... Unless you have an old mickey 5 speed laying around.
-
My car is a true hybrid. I believe both relays are on the passenger side near the fusible links. I believe the 5 wire would be the fuel pump relay. That is run from the 2nd pic i sent you. The 2nd pic is from the ecu. the 3rd is the other side of that connector. There was a blue with red stripe wire that is the signal I believe, if you follow the diagram pic I sent you you should figure it out. Going to be tough with you color blindness issue. The 2nd/3rd pic shows the black/white stripe that needs ignition on. Blue/red stripe goes to relay

You should have 2 of these. One for igniton and one for fuel pump relay.
-
Do you have this?
-
The relay you had on the fender should be the ignition relay. here is a pic of mine. here is the connector that it attaches to that also has the wiring for the fuel pump. Here is the other side. I will try to help as much as I can. I am in WI and car is in FL. Have to go by memory. I may be able to get my brother to look as well.

Datsun 260Z Turbo S15 6 Speed TechnoToyTuning

Today while I am in Wi, Dad and brother pulled the center console and installed a rubber mat around the hole for the shifter. Trying to cover up any holes that may leak exhaust fumes. I also sealed all the tail light housings. Covered up the hole for the antennae drain. Covered the mysterious holes in the sub frame. Still have exhaust fumes coming in. What gives. Also brother says that the diff bolts are loose again. He retightened them will see. He says that the car has created a stumble on light throttle. Fixed exhaust leak, it was the bolt holes left open in the rear hatch compartment that held the 260 z bumper shocks in place. They were removed when i took the bumpers off. Never filled the holes! -

Still have a short in electrical. No dash lights or wiper or rear defogger. Back track a little.... the rear defogger never worked since got the car. So dummy me, I put a fuse in and tried to it. Thats when I lost all the above. Can you say sizzle. Lost the oil pressure gauge as well. The gauge reads 80lbs all the time. Tested the sender and is good. Screwed in a oil pressure gauge and have good pressure. Will source a newsed gauge somewhere. Weird all the other gauges work, gas, water temp, amp and clock just no lights. On to other things. Realized I have ngk rated 7 temp plugs and going to 8 on the plugs. Was told also the narrow ceramic tip plug I have is not good. So will be replacing that when I get back on the 23rd. Oh yeah,, I am in GreenBay WI for the next 2 weeks. I also have been reading about the pcv valve. I have my crank case venting to atmosphere and the valve cover with just a filter. I am going to change that. Getting a PCV valve, plum into the intake and run the valve cover to the suction side of turbo. -
TTT coilovers rub on CVs?
tooquick260 replied to socorob's topic in Brakes, Wheels, Suspension and Chassis
Mine do not rub.... Could it be it is not seated all the way? -
Been there, had my 240 stolen 10/20/12. recovered 30hrs later stripped. I hate thieves! Only thing I got back was the wheels sentra spec-v and the rear fortune 500 coilovers.

Just did this.... i just turned 21. You can look at my build blog in my signature. Short of the story is! Body work or Mechanical work. Mechanical is as easy as replacing parts and some electrical, body work is more detail and can not be easily redone. So find a good car that has the good bones for body and paint. Then do a L28et swap, put an intercooler on it and that would be plenty fun for a 16 year old. Things I would not do in your shoes that I did... tranny sap brake swap dif swap coil over install That will save you a lot of money. -

Fixed the exhaust leak. Pretty quick took me an hour. I think I could do it in 30 min now. -

Yeah,, now I have the car lowered and cruising around I have to look up to most cars. Actually duck you head down and look up at people. Still way cool! Next to a 350z -
Great video... Tampa streets are a little rough. Like the cop cruise by at 3:44. Did not look like he gave you second look.

Z31 ecu install Hard/no start after shut off
tooquick260 replied to tooquick260's topic in Ignition and Electrical
Issue has been fixed. Not sure why this happened. I had 7 items running off the same ign on circuit. I removed all but the ign/coil ign on wire. Have all the rest set up on a seperate fuse box. This has solved the no start, coil lock up issue. -

Here is the exhaust leak. Lost one nut on the turbo to exhaust manifold flange. Blew out the gasket. I tried re-installing the nut and tightening the other nuts, but did not work still leaked. -
Couple days late but did get the front spoiler on... But, today found the exhaust leak! One nut had fallen off, put another one on and hoped it would seal up the leak. Did not work!
