Thats a good start, but how does it feel in the car? Like, how does it help improve the car handling and in what ways. I would really like detailed responses so I can see if these would be a good investment to get for drifting.

Well guys, drifting seems to be exploding in my area with official events so I figured I would dabble in it or at least just give it a try. I already have suspension work, turbo, roll bar, as well as many other mods to my z. I know I still need to work on a diff, but my other concern is steering. I have looked into power steering, but that is neither cheap nor easy to get done. My next look was into quick steering knuckles. I have seen a lot of discussion on the theory of how they work, but not much in the way of person experience in detail. So please, if anyone has had long hours of hard driving on any quick steering knuckles for an s30, please, feel free to share your insight here. Thanks.

Well I started her up this morning to double check the gauge before I went ahead and did the tests, and oil pressure is fine. You gotta love the electrical gremlins in a Z!

Alright, thanks. I will try that in the a.m. when it is light out again. I don't know if this will help any but on the drive home for like 5 minutes that gauge light quit and then came back on after the said 5 minutes.

Just got home from a quick 30 mile drive with my Z that was recently converted to turbo. All of the gauges were looking good in their reading and when I got home and went to shut it off, the oil pressure needle was below zero. Any ideas? I am thinking if the gauge is working and I am indeed getting no pressure, than it would be zero right? The needle is below zero to its "max" low so possibly either the gauge is dead or the wire came disconnected from the sensor on the block on the passenger side?

Sniper software CAN do that, I'm just saying that you can also do it manually. I often bid at 5 seconds or less. Also, the person doesn't have to know your max. All they have to have is a max higher than yours and eBay will put in a bid higher than yours (if theirs is higher) at the next minimum bid interval. But yes, they got you good.

All that is saying is that he placed another bid, it isn't necessarily a sniper. That is how I bid all of the time. Just as others have said, you simply wait to place your max bid with the least amount of time left. With this tactic you are more likely to have achieved the highest bid (as long as the current bidder has a lower max) and it gives others no time to respond to your attack.

I believe 500+rwhp for a daily driver is a WIN!

I wonder instead of trying to fab up another full piece of sheet metal, if you could take another hood, cut the "hump" out, and put it on top of the existing "hump" to further raise it and make the "hump" appear to grow

Hey guys, I am swapping a Borg Warner T-5 into my '77 2+2 and a buddy of mine said that a driveshaft from a 280zxt 2+2 5-speed should do the trick. Please let me know what you have, and as everyone else lately I am on a very tight budget. -thanks, Adam

Would either you or big-phil be willing to post pictures of your stock manifolds with external wastegate setups? I am curious as to what methods you used as well as how much clearance you have between the turbo and the sides of the engine bay.

I would just like to state that I wad attracted to the Skyline not from the F&F movies, but after the movies came out....from this forum. Seeing all the RB swaps led me to youtube and that further drew me to them.
