  1. I just thought the fronts shown in his sig looked like the ones from a porsche...they look sweet none the less!
  2. J, sick runs man! And I'm curious...are those porsche wheels on your z?
  3. I have had SOME experience with one. And by some I mean welding 3 pieces of plastic together for a basic class proving that I could do it. They seem to be mostly used for smaller stuff, even though they do put out a good amount of heat. I honestly don't think it would work on an airdam, but you can always try. Just make sure to point the "heater" at an angle and try not to burn the material. Keep it about an inch away or more and work closer if it is not melting enough.
  4. This may not be the single cause to it, but a Z will run rich if it has bad grounds. I would go around and clean ALL of the grounds you can find in the engine bay. All of them. Just remove the grounds and clean the wire contact as well as the location to where it is grounding with a nice wire brush.
  5. I believe so, yes. Pretty sure 170 was the estimated power at the crank.
  6. Def. not a zx. It is either a 75 or 76 280z.
  7. It is actually angering me on how angry and easily tempered in nature he is. At just one or two videos I thought it was funny, but seeing that there is so many I really believe it was gone past funny and something needs to be changed in his life.
  8. Did anyone notice there are 7 of these freakouts? Omg...
  9. Oh man....greatest thread ever!
  10. Alright.....NEXT. Now that this car is "done", we need out with the old and in with the "new." Lets see a thread for your turbo car!
  11. So are you sporting those new MSA invis-o-mirrors?
  12. Try reaching to the rear strut bolts. Having it bolted to the floor like that will result in you compressing your spine in a crash. Just look at the physics of it...when you crash (head on), your body wants to pull forwards. Your belt is then pulled forward and it wants to pull more material; it can only get that by going downwards. I probably didn't explain that the best, but just give it a sec and think about it.
  13. I will check today to see if I have it still in my garage.
  14. I tend to have the bad habit of going faster in turns than I do in straights
  15. Someone else in a similar boat to me...but my exam is tomorrow at 8am. Man I hate 8am test blocks, but colleges seem to like them. I also feel so out of place taking Chem 1100 with all of the freshmen. Just now in review I heard a kid complaining about Statics....haha...he is in for a surprise when he sees what other classes he has to take.
  16. Wow, that location almost looks like a place in Mosier, OR. Just East of Hood River. Whenever I am up there for my slalom racing I often see some Z's.
  17. Would it be out of line for me to agree? A warning if nothing else. Multiple requests to use the shift key and still nothing...
  18. I was at a Z show in CT, and a local member is the owner of #13 and #171. They unvailed #13 today. I forget all the details, but this is apparently the creme of the crop. I have pictures on my phone of the vin tag, and I checked the firewall and the door sill, all of which have the #13. It was amazing.
  19. Hey Clive...nice lookin ride! And btw...I saw car #13 today! You have no idea how awesome it was...part of the first boat of Z's to arrive in the U.S. and the first ever to be sold...it was seen for the first time in over 30 years today...
