  1. Forget the writeup, lets get some video! This sounds awesome! ...it is really making me rethink my l28et swap...
  2. ...that was so great when the page was still loading and everything was slowed down....
  3. wow, i really love the back end. i might just have to try that
  4. Oh I believe it. Eventually I will make the conversion, but at the moment I like being able to use it as a stool when I need an extra boost up in my garage, and it doubles as a nice chair. And being able to bump into things when trying to do a 30 point turn in small spaces is a plus I know the front conversion is easy, but what about the rear?
  5. So he didn't just sit on the car, he JUMPED onto it? You can't get more rude than that...
  6. ...just thought I would post up an update. The Z has gotten a new steering wheel, front strut bar, and an airdam. Coilover suspension is going in and should be done before December. Once that is finished I will rebuild the TURBO motor I just picked up
  7. Great reading here...even better for the thread on what makes your car so special, "well I got an arse print from VD"
  8. Agreed. That made my night after having just gotten owned by a Physics test
  9. Has anyone here had a Z with a front airdam and coilovers up on a flatbed? How is the clearance?
  10. ...and I continue to be pulled to what I used to consider the dark side....Lamborghini. As a younger child I was always seeing Ferrari and up until last year, I always wanted a mid 90's Ferrari. But once I got my Z and saw the beauty of the Lamborghini yellow that was on it, I have shifted to Lamborghini...
  11. Does anyone have any pictures of a rear "airdam" installed. I'm not quite sure what it is called, but it like a rear body kit piece that goes beneath the stock bumper. I have been bitten with the body modification bug after I installed my front airdam this past Sunday.
  12. (aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah)...and the crowd goes wild!! That is a work of art, no doubt! I would almost feel bad driving it, but every car has to be driven.
  13. You guys really like the msa II? i always thought it looked ugly on a z. personally, I like a stock front bumper with an airdam best. I'll have to get a picture of mine up soon so I can show mine. That combo with a Lambo yellow paint is pure sex
  14. I second that. It would be very nice to see some 2+2 data...
  15. Question...did you replace any bushings on the front end during the time you have worked on the swap? I only ask because I know the feeling of wanting the get the car up and running and then you realize that the ride doesn't feel right because of old stock bushings.
  16. everyone is that video is praising the guy...haha. most of it indeed was nice, up until he started doing his own little "mods" to his engine
  17. I really do love seeing a 2+2 with power. Right now I have my 2+2 looking fast, but with no power to back it up. What do you think of a 2+2 with power versus a coupe with the same power?
  18. Hey guys, I have been searching around for a while locally at all sorts of stores and I have come up short. Does anyone know where to buy a good mechanics jump suit? I am tired of ruining good clothes and having to take a shower after every time I bond with my car. -thanks, Adam
  19. whenever i ended up driving around in the summer i always ended up with a sweaty back on the seat. and this was driving 75 with the windows down. not fun when you had to go on a date
  20. So now I just have one more reason to be jealous of you Florida people! Not only is rust not really an issue, but you can also drive year round! I just hope your a/c is working...
  21. In my opinion, the best thing to do for a z is to have it driveable if possible for the majority of the driving season and when it is off for the winter you should work on one major project that you have in store. that way you can continue to restore and modify your z and yet still be able to know what it feels like to drive it.
