  1. I agree, I ordered my coilovers through him and he was very easy to deal with and always willing to help, thanks
  2. Yeah I heard about it yesterday night. Luckily no one was seriously injured, but to say the least that still wouldnt be a good day for me... sucks
  3. True, I just like the l28et because I have one. Im just jealous of all those with rb26's.
  4. Man if my dads shop had a dyno.... Your a lucky guy, now keep us posted on how much you gain after some more extensive tuning.
  5. there both good motors, very good for their times. IMO a RB26 is essentially, and really is just an updated l28et. The way its a matter of opinions really if your just going to be making 300hp. Once you get into the 500-700 hp range both can do it, its just more widely known that a RB can do it, and probably a bit easier with all the japanese parts available. However for as much power you ever want in a S30, the l28et will be enough imo. But damn those Rb26's sure do look sweet...
  6. Sounds awesome, cant wait to see some dyno numbers and or time slips when shes all dialed in.
  7. nm, working good now, now I wish Id find stuff I wanted to do to my car was done already Car is looking awesome! btw
  8. I like the ka turbo idea, always seemed like so much power can be made on a little boost, looks good and hopefully youll be able to afford the real paintjob you want someday.
  9. If you changed the color I would love the body love the rear end, I say go with a nice blue, or maybe even black and imo it would look awesome. But as of now everything looks good except the color imo, and the headlight lids or whatever there called.
  10. cool thanks, so the other too are kinda like spares if they wear out?
  11. Not quite the washers Im talking about, I already have the new perches for the threaded collars welded on to the strut housing. But in the little instruction sheet it shows that a washer goes on the top spring seat. It says it only uses them on the front, but with the 4 washers in the kit im not sure if you use two on each side or if the other two are just spares.
  12. Thanks for the help buZy, so you can just pic up any generic bumpstop at an autoparts store? and cut it to fit your application? So anybody know for sure what to do with those two other washers? Thanks again, John
  13. Hey guys, In my ground control 280z kit, they say that the front setups need a washer on top of the upper spring perch, but not in the back, but they give you four washers, do you use two on each side? Also are bump stops needed when running coilovers? Ive looked at a few setups and it looks like they didnt run any bumpstops, is this reccomended? Any help would be appreciated, Thanks, John
  14. Im sure the intake manifold is getting pretty hot, with the exhaust manifold right under it, it probably sees some pretty high temps.
  15. L28ET all the way, cheap, bolt in, and its not too hard to get them into the 12s.
  16. Ive noticed this also, I would think some of it could be attirbuted to heat soak. Cant see what else it would be.
  17. Sweet deal.. Im really looking into megasquirt now as opposed to microtech or haltech.
  18. Sweet little deal, ca18et has some potential.
  19. I use amsoil oil and filters in my saab 9000, 282k miles and going very very strong.
  20. Yeah, blasting cabinets are great, Ive done various little pieces on my motor etc, and they came out amazing.
  21. Yeah its always hard to estimate the date, I thought Id have mine done months ago, great job though, I always love seeing the RB Z's coming along.
  22. AWESOME!!! Cant wait to see some vids. When do you estimate it will be running?
