  1. Nice cars. Any more pics of both the supra and your car?
  2. Your gt always makes me miss my gtx. Did the gt's have the little idiot light that comes on when boost hits? I always thought that was funny.
  3. Very nice, im going to be picking up a g35 this spring. I was actually pretty impressed with how the infiniti's are stacking up to the competition these days.
  4. I have a 97' saab 9000 aero. Ive been driving them for my last couple daily drivers. They are large, can fit alot in the hatch, get great gasmileage, best Ive done is around 36 hwy, and they are comfortable on road trips. They can be had pretty cheap too and the maitenance really isn't bad at all.
  5. The front hubs can be used for a 5-lug conversion.
  6. Another car that would be fun is an early 70's corolla with a 3sgte or 4age with itb's.
  7. Awesome I always wanted to do something similar with a 1800. On the side of the coupe quattros. They are sweet platform, although they are on the heavy side and there isn't a huge aftermarket. I was looking for one earlier this year for a 20v turbo swap, but I've gotten busy with other things. Still plan on building one one of these days.
  8. Looking great man. You are making some pretty serious head way in a short amount of time! Cant wait to see the project progress. Btw I think it might be time for another wi/il Z get together. Seems that we have quite a few more wisconsinites than we did a few years ago.
  9. Looking great Scotty, with the few bugs worked out Im sure it will be quite an improvement over the l28et.
  10. Im running 20psi in mine and no boost gauge
  11. My daily driver is a 1995 9000 aero. Simple modifications bring them to around 300whp but the weak spots of the cars have always been the trans. Ive gone threw two at this power level. The power comes on low around 2-2500 with instant tire spin 1-2 and somtimes third then pulls relatively hard untill around 110. Fun cars, but fwd is the downfall, hence my plans for an STI for the next daily.
  12. Looks great, I think I might get a set for my car. Anybody know if the 240z rails baddog sells will fit over the 280z factory rails. It looks like the 280z rails they sell dont tie into the rear subframe?
  13. Another project!!! you must really hate having a thick wallet Im going to go ahead and assume that the car will look as good as the rest of the crew eventually. Congrats on the new project and keep us updated as always. -John
  14. Wow, car looks like its making some serious progress. Might have to see the car sometime this summer. You ever head up to great lakes or Byron?
  15. 1995 Saab 9000 Aero 85k miles, 19psi of boost, full 3in exhaust, all matainence done, low 14's trapping around 102. Never dyno'd.
  16. Hey man long time no see, good to see ya back. Looks like we're both in the same boat. My Z is tucked away in the corner of the shop. I hope to get cookin on it starting this May. If ya need any help with the car just give me a holler.
  17. That's a pretty sweet forum. A F20C 71' celica! http://www.japanesenostalgiccar.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=25
  18. Welcome back, sounds like the car will be making a pretty sweet transformation!
  19. I got a 13/20. The vin number ones tripped me up.
  20. Sweet, Ive wanted to do a 7M Z myself sometime, sounds like you have yourself some good candidates.
  21. you know you need awd when your spinning into third in a 300hp saab... must be nice being able to put all your power to the ground, lucky.
