  2. Sucks having to withdraw, but its better than struggling trying to keep up with the material. What are you majoring in? I'm going for mechanical engineering.
  3. Man those bike accidents can be pretty nasty. One of my buddies had a similar incident early this year at school too. Just didn't break his jaw, broke most of his front teeth and put them through his tongue and lip. Good luck on the recovery.

  8. Nice! Gotta have some love for the fwd euro's, he's gonna have a hell of a time putting power to the ground but thats what makes them soo fun. Those motors with a turbo upgrade in a MKII golf move like no other, I can't wait to hear the kills this car racks up!
  9. Wow, wish i could find stuff like that locally, both those cars are very nice.
  10. Grade 8 seems to be pretty common for most of the suspension stuff from the factory. I too would have liked to get all fresh nuts and bolts for everything, but its just too hard to get back and forth from the local hardware store and find what you want.
  11. Anybody ever get these guys brake line kits? Ive come to the point where I need to start doing my brake lines and was wondering if they were worth the money or not? http://www.classictube.com/prodview.asp?idno=2857&searchtype=&partno=DA1006
  12. Good post, i think im gonna do this to my 280 as well.
  13. Sounds cool, i like those 7m's, wouldn't mind one in a Z someday. But I have enough trouble finishing one project lol.
  14. Im going to be using a tintable bed liner called hippoliner relatively soon as I just started working on my project again. It will be my first time using it as an undercoating for a car but I think it will work out nicely.
  15. I use amsoil synthetic usually in my cars, but the local supplier has stopped carrying it so I now use castrol syntec, of which from what I can tell is just as good. But yeah I believe in synthetic oil for turbo cars, my 93' saab has 280k miles and runs like a top, used amsoil in that up to the change to castrol.
  16. Man thats awesome, would love to see some of thos cars in person!

  18. I learned to drive stick when I was 7 or so. Moving cars around my dads shop, I learned the way of the clutch pretty good. And since I had my license Ive never had an automatic car. Took my driving test in a 5spd too.
  19. Yeah I remember reading posts a while back I think jersey had problems with the fork splitting. I guess it goes with saying that if your using a heavy pressure plate, your best off getting a fresh slave, master, and fork.
