  1. Tony let me correct you on one front . It has KYB gas struts, not the tockico's AND its a 78 not a 79 anyhow they where a blast .. i was really happy and sad that this year the tires where gone ... They clear the stock brakes. Hence the car had no sway bars or poly bushings, so you will have the benefit of those too! one more This year i ran 15x8 with the cheapest tires they had, a 400 tread wear is something else considering the gumballs had a 40 tread wear But i did ad the MSA sway bars, even though i did not hook the way the 13's did there is a big difference there !! i cant wait for the poly bushings to go in Id say either the 13" or go to La Habra and buy the wheels seen above. Problem is that they are fairly heavy (16lbs a wheel verified by mister JohnC) but with some 225 slicks. You cant beat the prize $350 for the set of four! (or shipped off ebay!! asyou seem to be in Maryland. Check ebay SG motoring) I hop to be running the white turd at Spa Belgium in July on slicks on the same 15x8 rims, just as a shake down to see what needs to be done to turn in it into a real racer. For now I’m still leaning towards the 13" especially for autox. The big advantage is that you will reduce your gear ratio, so it will compensate the lack of power.
  2. Um I think they do but you can't use the set back plates since the S130 engine bay is 3" shorter.

  3. haha in that case move to europe all my cars have 3.3
  4. Put the search bar on the list ! been done before, answerd before etc. Welcome aboard, you will find all information needed to get the project started. Twin charge as in Charger and Turbo or ?

  7. how wide are those wheels as i have the full isma kit aswel ( fronts plus bumper etc..) still debating on witch car to use them .. i guess it will end up being the 78....
  8. I agree .. I have to say when it comes to aftermarket stuff i love the Arita speed G nose, I have a real 'box flare' isma kit ill put on my 78, and the g nose probably on the BMW V8 s130 You dont need flares as i sport 10J rears and 9 front in the stock fenders!!

  11. Citroen did it with the 'sahara' 2cv I read an article on the Mercedes-Benz A190 Twin the other day, it is fitted with two 125 hp 1.9 engines, one in the front and one in the back. It was built by Mercedes in 1999 as a one-off for Mika Häkkinen. Because of this, I started to think about what other car factories has made twin-engine cars, either as one-offs, prototypes, race cars or simply production models. I could only think of three, which I'll post here. What other cars were out there? Mercedes-Benz A190 Twin Citroen 2CV Sahara, it featured another engine and transmission in the trunk, for 4wd traction. Gear changes for the front and rear transmissions were operated by a common central shift lever, simultaneously moving the two sets of selector rods; the rear rods could also be disengaged, thereby enabling the Citroen to be driven by only the front engine as a two wheel drive car. Sahara production started in December 1960 and ended in 1971 after 694 vehicles had been built, The Golf Pikes Peak, a true rally car made for the famous hill climb.
  12. I totally agree the 280ZX is completely POS ..... I mean who would want to own such a junker!!!! Like mister Tony D says .. GREAT drive-line donors!! However the fact its in your driveway makes the Mechanic POS
  13. Well spend most of the weekend fabbing up headers .. did i mention i hat that Anyhow most of the pipes are under.. i cross from the passenger side to the driver side under the oil pan, much like i have seen on some SBC conversions. ill shoot some pics as Xander ordered me to get a cam.. so ill obey ( my phone cam is just to crappy though it is 5 mp) anyhow im mostly done there i just need to weld up the collector (4 to 1) to the 'main' 3"pipe.
