  1. I'm actually looking for a driver side.
  2. Thats what I figured. I also noticed that early 70-73 are different. Still looking for one if anybody has one for a 75 or 76. I'm guessing these are the same.
  3. Read this thread on classiczcars.com. I had that same sound and it turned out to be a lash pad had fallen off and the rocker arm was flapping around. http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/showthread.php?t=30832 I reinstalled the lash pad and did a valve adjustment and haven't had a problem since.
  4. I almost did the same thing with the tockicos i just installed but fortunately they have either an F or an R for front and rear. Once I saw the letters I researched and avoided having to install them twice.
  5. You have installed the fronts on the back and the rears on the front.
  6. I would like to see some pics. That sucks. Scammers suck!
  7. I just noticed my post count hasn't updated in a while either. I feel like less of a Z owner now!!
  8. Saw that one too. Looks pretty decent at that price.
  9. I'm not sure the 77 and 75 window regulators are the same. Can anybody confirm this?
  10. Looking for a replacement Window Regulator for my 1975 280z. Mine just spins and doesn't do anything. Anyone local have any spares?
  11. Did you install the brake pad shims? Mine didn't have any and squealed pretty bad until I installed a set. Haven't had a problem since!
  12. Same thing happened to me downtown earlier this year and 3 of my friends. All at the same time!! I'm just glad it wasn't my Z.
  13. Saw that one today as well. Don't you mean , you missed out on a 260zx!!
  14. Installed my Autopal E marked lenses with Narva XB3 bulbs lastnight and I was definately impressed. Nice bright white light that projects pretty nicely. I can now see at night!! Not as good as the real nice HID Projectors, but probably better than those cheap ebay ones. I definately recommend anyone to talk to John at h4lights.com if they want to upgrade their stock headlights.
  15. Thats what I was affraid of. Anybody recommend any exhaust shops in North Houston Spring area.
  16. Does MSA sell just the aluminzed exhaust tubing by itself which would allow me to buy a different muffler? I don't really like the look or sound of the dynomax to much.
  17. Haha. I know its come in handy for me a couple times as well. Also whats nice is when i'm working on my car and I just want to start it to test something but I left my key inside the house, I can just get a flathead screw driver and start it.
  18. Hell, my key comes out in any position!! All the way left, middle, and all the way right!! Guess thats not a good thing. Just one more thing on the list of things to fix.
  19. I've been thinking about getting a new exhaust soon as well. I bought an MSA 6 to 1 header for $5 and used electrolysis to clean up the rust and it cleaned up very nice. I've painted it with some header paint. Don't know if it will last but this will be a budget exhaust setup. I really like the look and sound of the MSA Twice Pipes setup. I think I will just go 2.5 inch for now with a Borla or Magnaflow muffler and upgrade later when I decide to go turbo.
  20. I hope its brighter without the need of a relay harness but i'm pretty sure I will need one as well. Do you recommend one for a 280z. Most i've seen are for a 240z.
  21. I was thinking about going HID, but decided unless you go all out it probably wasn't worth it. Plus I'm not sure I would like the look. I would want it to look more retro. 280z force and J. Soileau pull it off nicely, but there Z's are monster hybridZ. It goes well with there cars. My lonely mostly stock Z would probably look out of place. I decided to go with John at H4Lights.com suggestion and buy Autopal E marked lenses with Narva XB3 bulbs. Should be an improvement over what I got and shouldn't hurt my pocket book when another rock busts my headlight. I will post comments when I get them installed. They should be in next week.
  22. I'm sorry, I was asking Challenger.
  23. 8.5 with +4 offset fit fine in the front if you can get them on without a spacer. The spring perch is extremely tight. Mine fit perfect. Now the rears in another thing. I need to roll my fenders and I should be fine.
