One question I may have missed this in the other thread, but where did you get your wheels from? Is there a difference between Rotawheel.com, rotawheels.com, and 18racing.com?? And if so, which do you recommend?

I would like to know if these would fit my 75 280z with stock suspension. I would like to get staggered 8.5 in the back and 7.5 in the front if they don't, but they don't seem to have the RB-R in Hyperblack with polished lip in 7.5.
I'm thinking about getting 17x8.5 Rota RB-R wheels for my 1975 280 with stock suspension. They have +4 offset and will probably be using 225/45 tires. Seems like it would be cutting it close but it may fit. Do you think it would fit and not rub on the springs and also fit well under the fender?
I also like the look of the RB-R. I want hyperblack with polished lip. It doesn't seem like Rota makes 17x7.5 RB-R to run staggered wheels.
A picture of your car just showed up on ebay.

Kinda reminds me of my favorite car i used in Forza Motorsport 2. I hated putting that wing on it, but damn! It handled way better with it. What do you think?? I think mine looks better.
Can somebody post a picture of their 1975 Fuse Box Cover. Mine didn't come with one and yesterday I was looking at some of the fuses and they look pretty old and brittle. I would like to swap them out but I don't know what is what down there.
I registered at imageshack.us and uploaded my image. Then used the insert image button in the Message toolbox and pasted the link. Next time I will resize it.
I probably should have used the 60 degree elbow. The 90 was not long enough. I had to cut the straight piece in half and put one end on the 90 to extend it away from the AFM rubber boot. Turned out ok. Do you have any pictures?
I'm just about finished making my own Cold Air Intake for my 1975 280z. I used some Spectre tubing I got from Autozone and a K&N filter I got from Advance Auto Parts. I think it looks pretty good. I had to cut some of the tubing (which is plastic) in order for it to fit properly. It also took some boiling of the stock AFM rubber and soapy water in order to get it to fit. Here is a pic. I'm still working on a bracket in order for it to stay put. I'm thinking of strapping it down to where the stock airbox would latch onto.
Not bad for $50 bucks. What do you think?
I'm actually in the process of making my own. Their are a couple posts showing pictures. I bought a 90 degree elbow made by Spectre and now just need to buy a K&N air filter and make a mount to hold filter in place.
What do you guys think of K&N Knock offs?
I talked to a guy about this Z today. He said they were the original owner and the car has been sitting in a garage for 13 years. Sounded like a decent deal and that it was in pretty good shape. No pics and this guy sounded like he didn't own a camera. Its in Keller Tx i beleive.
1973 240z $2750. He says it all original.

I've seen those adds as well. Have you seen either one of those in person. I live in Houston so any help would be appreciated. I will probably go see this one this weekend.

I really want to keep it under 4K and would prefer 3k and under.
I've been looking for a decent deal on a 70-78 Z in texas. Saw this one today and was thinking about driving to take a look at it. What do you guys think? He says it will need a Crank Kit. I'm looking for something decent that runs with little to no rust. Something i can drive and fix up as i go.
