Oh well, everyone starts somewhere
I had a 97 Slobra, I know obviously with a blower its going to be a much more potent ride, but I was not all that impressed with the 97 in terms of handling or speed. Now what I DID like alot about the car, was it was very comfy to drive, easy to get in and out of, easy to park (smallish), overall the interior was just human friendly no matter the plastiqué, it just wasn't scary to drive. Thier rev limiter schemata is also wierd, takes like 4,000 RPM for the power to come back after you go past the limiter.
Ok, yet another set of horror stories, I came across a guy on Corner-Carvers.com that blew 4 of the DOHC Cobra engines in racing. Can you say cam $$$wap? All that work to make a dinky engine that weighs alot, as potent as a larger engine that weighs less or the same, with 1 cam. Go high-tek, yay.
