  1. Whoops! I even re-read to see if he posted something like that...darn!
  2. Welcome to the forum! Seems like a pretty solid Z from the pictures and I like your taste in wheels In that last picture, is the car at idle or are you revving it? If it that thick at idle you might have a problem. My Z burns oil but is only really noticeable when decelerating. I only go through a quart a month so it isn't the biggest deal. Try driving the car for a week whilst checking the level everyday and see how fast it is burning. It could also be hazardous for other drivers depending on how thick the smoke is being laid down.
  3. I've never had a problem with them. It could be the fact that they're 3 miles down the street though In the past though they've always returned my calls and always double checked with me if I wanted to go through the purchase that was on hold due to backorder. Just give them a call and leave a message. Hope everything works out for you guys!
  4. congrats! That's a decent sized baby!
  5. Probably door seals. Or, it could be the windshield and be leaking down the sides. You're going to want to check your seals and your carpet. When my seatbelt was wet, so was the entire floor pan. Took me two hours to dry out the carpet with a wet vac Good luck!
  6. I'm right there with you man! I can't wait to graduate and save up for a nice place with even a 1 car garage!
  7. I agree with Oddman...I love the original Z dash
  8. Yeah, I hadn't seen anything like it so I thought I'd share
  9. Nice! I just read through the entire thread so far. I love the stance of your Z. Low n' mean
  10. The easiest way that I found to get rid of that rubber stuff is to let dry ice sit on it for 10 mins or so and then whack it with a rubber mallet. Comes flying off in chunks!!
  11. Agreed! I love the color....well...what's left anyways haha.
  12. The passenger side scares me....I wish you luck good sir.
  13. Always nice to have a guy who loves what he does and is detail oriented. Loving the paint; keep sending the pics as the car is closer to completion
  14. Nice find! A clean Z anywhere on the eat coast is a real gem. You'll eventually want to take the rubber insulation on the floor pans off to check for rust underneath. Mine looked good too but when I got to the metal I had a little surprise. Good luck!
  15. So far my Z hasn't given me too much trouble. I'm a college student and work part time so I don't have a ton of cash either The only thing I've "had" to do was replace the oil pan and diff gaskets, tune it up/mess with the afm, and a new radiator. I've only done one oil change and put about 4k on it so we'll see what happens down the road. Oh, and I get horrible gas mileage but I think that changing the fuel filters and cleaning the injectors will help a lot
  16. Nice! Both the tranny and diff cleaned up really well with paint Keep it up man!
  17. I'm stoked to hear some n/a videos
