I've got 240Z_Master and CJBrian to help me out when I need stuff but I usually pay them. My roommate is into cars but is lazy and doesn't even work on his own dd. He has it "serviced" at the family mechanic...such a waster of money. Kinda can tell the vibe of him just by that

I'm still dd mine too. Been doing so since December 2009 and no problems other than a new raditaor It'll probably be off dd duty this spring if I pick up an E30. Cheers!

That one was cool but I meant the one with the giant Z embroidered in the hatch. The last picture you posted. The fit and finish on that interior is the best I've seen. The door panels were pretty sweet too!

That Z at JCCS with the crazy leather and "Z" in the rear hatch is amazing. I probably spent 5 minutes just staring at it There was another Z there that had all the interior panels covered with suede and it looked very nice. It probably would cure a lot of the squeaking that we have with our Z cars too. Your project is coming along! I'm jealous of the turbo motor

I picked up my first Z when I was 16 in 2005 and I bought it for 2200. It ran great but was a rust bucket. I'd get a dd (240sx, corolla, tercel, civic, or any older import) and use that while saving up for a Z. I'd have a pretty slick Z right now if I wasn't on my 5th car (and 3rd Z). Get a daily, save, save, save and get a 75 or older Z since you're in Cali. Get one with minimal rust and go from there. TRUST ME! I know you're going to want to buy the first one you see. I was the same way when I was your age. Be patient and the "one" WILL come. I see deals all the time in craigslist and waited 3-4 months for my current one. And wouldn't you know it....the very next week there was a better deal than Z I had just purchased GL dude!

I hear you on the wheels I was going to get some but heard some troubling remarks so I decided against it. They look sweet though. I remember reading on the build thread that it as only a single stage...still can't believe it looks that great. Good job
