People shouldn't get twice pipes if they don't want their car to be loud lol. Its louder than a flowmaster, turbo muffler, magnaflow etc BUT if your car is efi like mine is, it really isn't that bad. My buddy's 240 with triple carbs, 2.5in piping to an Apexi muffler is slightly louder than mine. Another buddy's is triple carbs with the twice pipes and his is louder too. Do your research and worst case scenario, you're down a couple hundred bucks

I've had the kit on two of my cars and it is currently on my '75. Any rust that is on there you can grind out and then paint over with some VHT paint. The paint on mine is holding up just fine and I daily it. Little on the loud side but everyone that has heard it loves it.

Get a video of it so we can hear it

Hey guys. So the problem I'm encountering is that my key spins freely in the ignition and the cylinder won't engage. From what I can tell it the ignition switch itself and no electrical problem. MSA quoted me at $185 so if anyone has a used one I'll gladly take it -Must have key -Must be compatible for a '75 280 -I can pay via pay pal if that's cool with you. Thanks, Rafe

One of the guys I hung out with tonight said it could be your rings. But your engine was technically just "rebuilt" so...

Its a little plug closer to the distributor I believe. I'll show you later today when we meet up for food/movies.

My buddy has a 03 Passat 1.8t and I love that thing. Comfy and once the ecu is chipped, the thing pulls! I'd just hate to get something as my dd and then have to shell out money that could go towards the Z. I'll do more research once summer comes to a close and I have the cash burning a hole in my pocket

I've thought about that but aren't German parts typically expensive? The Honda wagons are pretty nice (for a wagon) and its something I wouldn't want to mod saving me money for the Z

Wow...that's not bad looking. Looks similar to a civic. Definitely something to keep in mind. I've finally decided on what I'm getting this summer...*drum rollllllllllllllll* A Honda Accord Wagon! OMG WAGON!!! They get almost 30 mpg, have a crap-ton of room, are comfy, reliable, and are not in demand at all. Just from looking the other day I found 3 locally I'd pick up if I had the cash. Well under 5k. But for the OP, sounds like a Mazda 3 or maybe the Kia Forte. 6 speed and 175hp should be pretty peppy.
