  1. if you pay shipping to here, I'll up the beer to a 36 pack
  2. hmm... how old is she? Would she want to move down here and be my GF?
  3. Pissed off pretty much covered it for me when 2 guys in ski masks came in and one held me up against the wall with an air pistol while the other took off with my flatmates $5K flat screen jumbo size LCD TV. Not as nasty a weapon as a powder burner, but those little airguns are easier to get here in NZ where pistols are banned outside of pistol club premises, and they can still send a pellet through a tin can, flesh wouldn't be a problem even if not likely to be fatal. Must be a bit more pants staining to have something like a .45 pointed at one than a .177
  4. Hmm... I see a BRAAP-attack looming for spelling, grammar, txt spk, and other associated abuses of the rules
  5. Good to hear he didn't just pull the trigger.
  6. Ah, that's gotta be better than the man poking the kids with his stick
  7. Really? I must have missed that in the #5 thread, through I admit I was scanning rather than studying it. What specificly is rare about the LD28 pump? there were LD28 Maximas in the US market so surely pumps would be around, or is it a low-production numbers specialist application pump for something other than a Maxima that is fitted with an LD28? A quick check of one supplier here in NZ shows 2 pumps available. early: Water Pump Nissan LD28 Z24 Pre-10/1986 66mm from base to top of flange WP754 FP1502 GWN-05A Late: Water Pump Nissan LD28 10/1984-86 Laurel 60mm from base to top of flange
  8. Has anyone made a 1-6 intake header like a 6-1 exhaust header and mated that to a TBI with the injectors in the throttle body? Long runners compared to a manifold, but equal air distribution?
  9. MANN diesel? Talk about german engineering that wouldn't be out of place aboard the Deuschland
  10. old hat. Afganistani tribesmen have been doing that to Martini Henry .303s since it was still the Indian Punjab and not yet split to Afganistan and Pakistan. Cheaper to kill a british soldier or sepoy and nick his rifle than to kill a british officer and nick his .455 webley. Mostly the bullet was pulled and the powder split in half and half tipped back in and the bullet seated home again.
  11. Looks like a low pressure steam turbine for the waste steam off a generator that's too low for the electric generation turbines, hooked up to a air fan for the coal ovens. Am I right?
  12. go to yahoo and make a new email after giving him that. wait and see if any email arrives in it from paypal saying that someone sent you money then do a header cheeck to see if it IS from paypal or just a spoofed sender
  13. send back and tell them to send the money to the shipping agent and have the agent bring the folding green stuff. If it happens, you have cash and can laugh all the way to the bank, if it doesn't you ain't lost any more than a few electrons and a couple of minutes for the Email.
  14. I was talking with an engineer who does pipe bends for cattle sheds, he says a light coat of reloading case and bullet lube lasts longer and works just as well.
  15. Yeah, I noticed him... ebay ad from 2007!
  16. some of those fake tans look like they brewed them up themselves out of walnut husks and an air compresser paint gun from the shed...
  17. High temp Ceramic and Carbon/Carbon friction technology that means the rotors probably cost as much as your Z does, and thats not counting the costs of the pads and the high temp boil-less brake fluid that costs as much for a millilitre as your Z's walmart bulk DOT-4 stuff costs per gallon. It's a case of Cubic Dollars winning out.
  18. we're probably 2 seasons behind the US shows, so It'll probably be a few years before I see that Z.
  19. are you two using opera or something? IE used red "X"'s firefox uses little page icons torn in half, does opera use ?'s
  20. I thought about it using a bedford V4, but discarded itbfore I finished the thought theres a reason most beforeds are now sporting LD28 and holden 202 motors.
  21. with no pictures visible, you know what image that just conjoured up for me? A big loose fanny and a smell like beans night in an army barracks... I need to get this out of my head NOW! Where are the pictures?

    New ride

I blame McArthur! All those 'murkin jeeps and their yankee drivers running round the place during and after the war
  23. Just run a heavy cable from the positive to behind your bumper, covered with a rubber protector and have a bolt or tow hook left unpainted for the neg, that way you can just hook up another cars battery to the contacts to provide the juice to unlock the doors.

Mad? I dunno about that, but to put things in perspective, I drive with 240 treadwear tyres on my van to stay on the road that's middling performance tyres, not economy stuff Back on topic, I don't think we're getting the Hyundai coupe here in NZ, I've been over their website and it's not in the lineup.
