This was one thing I saw with the 350z at the dealer, they were touting a 5hp increase by using a K&N Cold Air Intake, but the filter cone was sitting in the engine bay behind the radiator! I didn't see how it was getting any cool air where it was located.

Ah thank God I live in Florida, None of that white crap down here! Of course we have to worry about the salt air from the ocean breeze doing a number on our Z's

I've had the megasquirt built for some time now even modified with the megabaro, but was waiting for the flyback board so I would not need to run resistors inline. I am also taking apart a spare ECU I have and using the connector and a breadboard to wire between the stock harness and the DB37 connector to my megasquirt. This way I can disconnect the megasquirt and plug the stock harness right back into the stock ECU. I've just been busy with a ton of other projects and haven't finished the breadboard.

What makes you think they did that by mistake? In situations like this just follow the money, Who has an invested stake in this company? Who were the financial backers?, Who stands to gain using these computer systems? Sounds like political corruption to me.

Wern't the fuel pumps on the other side of the tank originally? If so why the move?

I renewed my issues as well! As a matter of fact I received the latest issue just in time to take it with me on my vacation. Of course I got harassed by my buddies for reading a Z car mag while at a convention for salt water aquariums which is my other even more expensive hobby. To the SportZ mag folks, Keep up the good work, for a guy who has dang near zip in knowledge where Z cars or any car in general your mag is golden to me.

LOL, I understand, I work in IT as well. There was a lady that worked in the purchasing dept years ago that wore very heavy makeup. The keyboard was caked with makeup after a year of use. When she started to complain that the keys would stick I handed her a spray bottle of simply green cleaner and a rag and told her to clean her own keyboard. She complained to HR So I took the keyboard to HR and handed it to the Director and asked him if he wanted to handle that keyboard. Case Closed! Keyboard replaced, Purchasing minus 1 person.

I wanted to make sure the box didn't get banged around, since I soldered the leds on the board was a bit longer, Sorry forgot the 9volt connector.

I've got no experience in electronics and was able to build it on one saturday.

Although I understand why the forums have been combined, Having a L6 forum made it much easier for me to find info that related to a L6 engine. Im a newbe! and know absolutly zilch about auto engines in general and rebuilding my car which I plan on doing. Its not going to be anywhere near stock when Im done. The problem I will be having now is wading through info that may or may not pertain to my issues and knowing what does or does not pertain to me. May have to change my name to Zenless Z
