  1. You should definitely get the 15's with 225/50's. I think that is the best looking combo. No offense but the 16's look a bit odd. The 15's get my vote. After seeing an s30 at T3's machine shop with the 15's on 225/50's, I was sold. That will definitely be my next wheel option. I have Rota Grid V's with 205/50's.
  2. I've grown to love the park-bench-bumpers too, with a nice drop and killer wheels.
  3. I agree, 225/50/15's are actually pretty nice also. I saw a yellow s30 at Techo Toy Tuning's machine shop with that size on Konig Rewinds and it looked AAAAmazing! It was equiped with a Ford 302 also, i believe. just wow.
  4. Franky, I've got the same wheels. 205/50 is what I like. The 60's series is too tall and to me, looks off.
  5. Looking good 280Dan! you wont need flares but if you go that route, make sure you get spacers to offset for the flares.
  6. Does it have the holes for the turn signals? (assuming your order was for a 240 260 model)
  7. Do you happen to know if they have the Airdam WITHOUT the air ducts?
  8. I have a 75. Can I just use the 280ZX AC system? The plumming might be different but what about all the parts? Thanks guys.
  9. I believe that the bad GROUND connection was making the engine run rich, which in result, floods the cylinder and kills the spark plugs.
  10. My 75 280z had similar symptoms. The plugs would get flooded and the engine would shut off. When I drive it, the engine would choke and run like crap. It would not rev pass 3000 rpm. I just fixed it the other week. I will ask my father about what he did specifically. I remember him say that it was a problem with a GROUND connection. When he grounded the connection, the engine would idle smooth. When he removed the ground, the engine started to choke again. The car ran perfect after we fixed the GROUND connection. Right now though, the car is not running do to a bad voltage regulator.
  11. Is the MSA one and this one the same exact thing?
  12. Yeah, those Panasports caught me off guard too. Best Part: They don't seem to be just for looks.
  13. Those mirrors are looking great guys. There were quite a few cars with that specific mirror at the Japanese Classic Car Show this year. Here's a Z that was published on Modified Magazine with those mirrors. http://www.modified.com/features/modp-1006-1971-datsun-240z/viewall.html
  14. I beg to differ. SSR's wheels are most likely lighter and more durable. Quality over quantity. I don't care of someone buys imitation wheels, just don't go around comparing it to the originals.
  15. DEE, thanks for your post! I've always wondered what the chip spoiler would look like on a 280. Did you get the chin spoiler that is made for the 280z on MSA? I've been wanting to get one but just did not know how it would turn out looking like.
  16. They look good but just don't look as appealing as the real ones. I think it could be due to the sizing and offset.
  17. If you don't want to run flares, you will want the 15x8 0 offset. You can also find a wheel that is 15x9 0 offset. Those should fit fine. The 15x9 might require fender rolling.
  18. Suggestion: Get an MSA bumper and lay fiberglass down to make the lip.
  19. I am looking for all the rubber pieces that attach to the 280z bumpers. I don't know if there is a difference but I have a 75 280z. Pm me for reply. Thanks.
