  1. im interested as well, im determined that my next z have a two legger for real, but dont want to do a r230 or find the infamous never is around Lsd r200 diff. JUMBO, does your car get sideways, and how is the doughnut effort, thats what i really need to know.

  4. hey mr. grog, i have M21s and t10s that were spares from my last z car, me being me, my trans of choice is a M21, it would be a M22, but man they go for bucks, if i ever do a v8 any car again, im getting me a four speed, and i put that on the dog. nice car.

    t400 in with 350.

    yoke is the same t5/th350/t400/2004r/and M21 it is around the same length maybe a little longer than a M21, its pretty short, but the 400 is a very wide fat trans, tight fit for sure, if you have the t5 driveshaft already try it to see if it works it just might.
  6. it goin be very hard. motor bearly fits between strut towers, and is a complicated animal, but is very powerful motor with a lot of aftermarket backing, go on player go on.

"action speaks" has always been my rule when it comes to most things. watch out zya, you may need juice, i got my ass serviced by a 5.0 running healthy motor and a 100shot, 13.1 to his 12.5, i was on dr's and he was on street tires! for three years as FL327, I raced and usually beat any car that had the desire to test me and the four speed, this is for old memories i know what you mean when you get the jerks, import jerks domestic jerks both jerks jerks suck. whatever, get your stall and get some hook you should be able to get him, but if you dont you know youll never hear the end of it and you will be the next great story(this translates into, PRESSURE PRESSURE PRESSURE PRESSURE COOKER) youve got a pretty tough car there and you should be able to beat.
  9. ernie , efi is really great tuning and everything, but i think initially running a carb on a motor is cool, you can sort the driving bugs out of the system and learn what the car is all about, then if you want you can make the switch over, and in a non emissions application there are only about ten wires needed to make the car start and run. six wires or maybe less in a l6 motor. personally, i dont think v8s look right with efi, and if i were ever to do another v8car of any kind, best believe youre gonna see at least one carb sitting on top of the motor, a running rich the whole board can rag on me all they want, nothing say boss hog muscle machine like a carb to me, its flambosting and its quite sambostic to hear the song of big cubic inches, lumpy idles of death, and wot through a double pumper. unless you run a turbo v8, like some people always TALK about, then efi is very proper IMHO. in short, i think fi is very nice, but a carb is very NASTY especially with a t10 behind it SAAAAAAAAAAAMBOSTICCCCCCCCC
  10. the top one would be the easiest to install, both inlets are pointed the same way.
  11. the 240 is a combination of the jag, toyota 2000gt, part corvette, and some other cars from europe that i cant name - and performed comparably to cars in the next price range higher, exactly what the 240 strove to do. now the market is different and i hope the new car can do that now, but i dont think it can. but the 240 wasnt the most original design ever, and i think the only reason it looks so great and original today is because the jag, porsche,and toyota cars that nissan got its influence from have died, while the z cars still live, and most cars today look the same, like they did in the 70s. its just now you see this great 70s car amongst the newer cars and rocking style points all over em.

  13. sounds like a good strong motor, how much is he asking? if he has nissan paperwork that motor is worth some serious bread, run the numbers to see if they match up right, and grab that combo before someone beats you to it, sounds like its worth at least 1000.00
  14. man i like the new z, it does remind of the 240, i saw a car and driver show about it, and i can see the family resemblence, it looks good to me.
  15. hey ive heard about that turbo xs bov, do you know that its decibel rating is louder than a mustang on flowmasters or dang close to it, thats just sick, im getting one for sure now
  16. have you thought of changing out the cold start injector for a full on injector for that extra umph?
  17. never had any luck with anything but the autolite .99 cent plugs myself, every other kind ive ever had fouls out on me in a month, autolites have lasted me years.
  18. that maddat place is pretty cool. i like the 510 sr20det swap stuff they have, that would make it pretty easy, but kinda pricy, but thye do give you a lot of stuff. man that twin turbo setup should give you at least 268 rwhp!

  20. just had the same thing happen to me. car would run like crap, just went to jy and got a distrib. solved it all for about 10.00
  21. you dont want to run a tire that big on a 14x7, it will wobble a lot in the turns, i would go with a 195-50-14 azenis or a 205-50 max on them if you want them to handle for you, plus it will make your gear ratio crazy good for acceleration.
