  1. He's a swindler. Don't be fooled! J/K Yes, he is very bright and motivated for a guy of his generation. There is hope!
  2. http://www.fiveomotorsport.com/Injector_SetsMODS.asp#denso I bought the 42# Ford Racing "Green Tops".
  3. Hmm, I wonder how it went? Did she make you give up the Z yet?
  4. EvilC, any idea if they plan on mass producing that line kit?
  5. I see you decided on a L28 Turbo setup. Thumbs up! I can't wait 'til we move from the awesome photos to videos!!
  6. I am blown away by the craftsmanship here!! Amazing.
  7. Start a small online business selling widgets.
  8. That's why I said NEARLY indestructable. Nothing is indestructable....I think.
  9. I don't love what I do. The way I look at it is: 1) I can tolerate it. 2) A few good people help me to tolerate the shytloads of bad people. 3) It's MY decision to stay. 4) It pays me so I CAN do what I love to do. (work on my Z, enjoy my free weekends, live in my hard earned house, and vacation with my family) Four years in a sweat shop tied to a drafting table, and an a-hole boss for $10/hour makes me appreciate this corporate job I have had for the past 10+ years making an OK living as an engineer. Sure I would love to design, build, test, rockets, explosives, z-cars....but I settle for designing boring machinery and boring consumer packaging. I get my kicks on MY OWN TIME instead.
  10. Thanks for the tip on the Falken RT-615. It looks like a good bang for the buck tire.
  11. Oh I forgot to mention I started a business a few years back while I was laid off. Now I have a steady paying job again and the business really took off. It got to be sooo much work that I cut myself out, and gave it to my brother and sister-in-law to run. Yes, they owe me money but I enjoy watching my little bro make money with it. 12. If it was a fully built WRC rally car, it could take a beating like that and keep on ticking. Cracked windsheilds are common on all the current WRX models when they go serious off roading. Those WRC cars are nearly indestructable.

  14. Factory 83 Turbo Cleaned up and swapped: Pretty but still lots of room for improvement: Basically, you need to go with a new fuel rail and non-factory fuel and ignition control to get it real clean.
  15. Mechanical Engineer, machine design, manufacturing, automation, packaging...and I'm a new dad...gotta go, baby's crying.
  16. Wow how come I am coming in sooo late to this thread??? Glad I found it. Thanks to the ice storm, work is CLOSED!!! Woohooo. HybridZ.org all day long!! This is an awesome documentary. Nice work. Is the bumper a rechrome?
  17. A light damper will be less effective. If it's too light, it may be entirely useless and your engine would be in jeopardy. I would save weight elsewhere, not the crank damper. Especially on a long crank motor like the L28's. IMHO.
  18. My Cad model of the Sportmax 16x8 zero offset.
  19. Trust me, you don't want me driving my own car. I think I can only fit about three road cones in the nose opening of my Z. I would need a bigger opening to hold all the cones I would steal! This Spring, I am joining a local club and will get to autocross a few times. As of now, I only have two runs under my belt. Both of which were not in my Z.
  20. See, this is why I want a magazine to do a fair review of a few well built HybridZ cars vs. other exotic machines. Nissan Sport Mag? Come on lets do it! V8 HybridZ, L28ET, and Carbed N/A ITS Z vs. Corvette C6, Lotus Elise, Porsche 911 Turbo, STi, Diablo, Ferrari 550, BMW M3.... Road Course, Autocross, 1/4-mile. I can only dream.
  21. AMEN TO THAT! Here is my Z sleeping comfortably.
