  1. I have not seen the bottom of a race car with any type of vortex generators.. They always have SMOOTH bellies Venturi tubes and front/rear diffusers are much different then a vortex (low pressure) generator
  2. I would LOVE to own a kit car.. Hell some of the Factory Five kits are amazing and they handle!! Ferrari and Porsche and Lambo.. ok those are an obvious.. you don't buy them purely for looks.. Other kit cars though? They have the looks and you can build your own performance! In the end you have a cool car.. who cares if its a "replica kit car"
  3. "the matter of the fact is..." or.. "the fact of the matter is.." girls love to use that stupid phrase and NEVER get it right
  4. Ah that makes alot more sense. Thanks! It looks great!
  5. anyone notice the FLANGE is cut in two pieces?! I can understand to prevent the manifold from warping due to uneven heating.. But damn.. one bolt to hold TWO exhaust runners on a flange and prevent leaking or a torn gasket?!
  6. search around for a electric FSM or if you can find a printed one. Should have a complete vacuum reference diagram http://carfiche.com/fiche009/s130/
  7. Umm.. only 240z hoods are available.. you will have to buy or retrofit the louvers on
  8. few questions.. Where did you get the 7" lens? did you modify an old 7" headlight and cut a hole for the new projector? Im confused why you mentioned the BMW E46 Bi Xenon headlights.. when it looks like you used the Acura TL (ZKW replica's) projector.. so did you use the E46 HID ballast!?
  9. I've been looking around for the VME HID kit without a lot of luck.. I have found a bunch of random companies on eBay.. you can't tease us like this! more pics and info!
  10. was this just a mock up on an old hood before you cut holes in the C/F hood?! or did you prime the carbon fiber hood in flat black?!
  11. LoL.. mass confusion.. look what I've started.. let me specify.. airplanes have disc brakes.. complete with a caliper and all. you can get technical and talk about air brakes and spoilers and flaps to slow the airplane down.. but thats a new thread lol I'd be interested in trying out this new speedometer! maybe it's a much quicker/accurate device then what is in my putt putt propeller driven device.
  12. Looks to be a cheap SS Auto Chrome turbo kit. otherwise it was all pieced together separately
  13. LoL.. im just using that as an example. Yes airplanes have brakes. I've just noticed when I do sudden changes in throttle or altitude the reading on my airspeed indicator and GPS are delayed by about 2 seconds or so. This is with a King GPS
  14. im confused as to why you said 240z TURBO itb install.. I don't see a turbo at all.. no plenum.. nada
  15. n/a and turbo are the same transmissions
  16. If it's anything like the GPS units in the Cessna's I fly.. there is a big time delay. If you go 40 mph and slam the brakes to a dead stop it would still say your going 40mph for a few more seconds lol
  17. uhh yes.. you will need larger injectors. I would go with a minimum of 440cc.
  18. and interior pieces will vary between 240z/260z/280z! aggh!
  19. I agree... interior pieces would be excellent. I just think once the front splitter was produced and a rear diffuser.. people would see the price and then put it on their wish list and NEVER buy them. The few people who actually have money would buy them, but it would not be worthwhile for the producer.
  20. I too am interested in how to make sure your not over extending?!
  21. Dang! I wish I could of come!! The Z should be back on the road within the next 2 weeks or so! Maybe I'll try to make it out to the next track event!
