  4. ohh you know what?!?! When the project is all over.. you should collect all the footage and make a DVD!! I'd be willing to buy a DVD.. very entertaining video's .. and there are soo many tips and tricks I learned just from watching the vid's!
  5. I have an N47 head and a turbo.. and yes it has the exhuast liners... and NO i have not had any issues.. and I am at.. 10,000 miles since the swap.. and i've run 15psi and tracked it many times and have really gotten that puppy HOT... hot enough to throw flames .. I changed the gasket a few days ago.. nice and sturdy to me.. no problems yet

  9. HELL yeh it's worth it!! It accelerates 0-60mph in 2.8 seconds!! this car accelerates faster than the 2005 model FIA FORMULA ONE cars!! and you reach 1.1 G's upon accelerating! it's an absolute phenominal car, I am amazed how it's still road legal! Astonishing, the worlds fastest acclerating, and the worlds fastest top speed car. I can sum it up for you in two words : My God!
  10. nice!! Stand back and take a pic of the wheels ON the car!! the whole car! =)
  11. that sucks your having a hard time.. but don't EVER compare yourself to Jesus.. he went through more pain and suffering than anyone can put themselves through.. i take offense to that somehow.. but i understand your "metaphor"
  12. wow! im shocked!! thanks for all of your wisdom!! and thanks for the new fuel maps I am using with success! hehe
  13. loose screws you sold your 292rwHP Z to someone??! whaa?
  14. im surprised 240hoke hasn't chimed in with his beautiful center console.. Austin.. get your *** in here
  15. I would highly recommend a REMOVABLE Faceplate.. as you can take it with you inside, and a theif can't do ANYTHING without a faceplate.. mine is entirely removable! Oh you might notice in some of the pics, there is an automatic tranny, and a manual tranny... some were taken BEFORE the 5-speed swap, and some AFTER My DVD setup Oh and it's hard to see.. but I have 3 10" MTX subs in the back of my Z... In order to hide them I use a BLACK beach towel.. it's large enoguh to cover the subs, and no one can tell, looks like carpet from the outside! Since that picture I have relocated the amplifier, and have also stored that in a seperate compartment.. so NO one can tell it's there... and ofcourse.. it's all being protected by Alpine Security
  16. ohh man.. Thumper I don't know how your car could even start.. I tried changing the Priming pulse to 1.5 and the -40* F at 1.5 and it would NOT START.... i changed the settings while the car was running... so i was driving down the street and then i stalled it.. and I was stuck.. and no laptop.. so I push started it and ran at 500RPM for about 1/2 mile uphill.. that was NOT fun.. argg Anyway.. this is what I am running now.. I'll let ya guys know how it works out Priming Pulse = 2.0 Pulsewidth at -40* F = 12.0 Pulsewidth at 170* F = 4.0
  17. I have a ACT street clutch disc.. and a ACT pressure plate rated at 400ft/lb.. VERY VERY streetable... the break in was a bit CHATTERY but after 400 miles it was great... NO issues.. stock master and slave cylinder... I've had it for about 3,000 miles now... LOVE IT
