  1. Would be worth trolling around on some of the 240sx forums... If they bolt on for them, I would imagine it would work with little/no modification on the Modern Motorsports bracket and 300zx rotors. Then again, who knows until you try it? Good luck if you decide to buy them, and post up your findings!
  2. Call the dealership, I believe you can still get the appropriate o-rings (there are two required IIRC), that might be a better alternative to buying a whole new adapter with questionable 30+ year old rubber... There's also a few posts about cutting to fit o-rings, which people seem to have had luck with.
  3. I can send you my stock one if you like, how's $7 sound? That should cover the part, shipping and my time hitting it with the polishing wheel to get most of the crud off!
  4. Like this? I've got these, but I don't like how you have to angle the lines (see below) to use them. They are for sale too if anyone wants them...
  5. I've got some original banjo fittings with -10 fittings welded on. They wont work for me, but they might for you. I'll post up some pictures once I'm out of work to show exactly what I mean...
  6. Geez, I posted which adapter to use in the 3rd post... So much talk, and still nobody selling me those useless banjo lines!
  7. Is this going to be applicable to all s30's, or just 240z's? Great work putting this together by the way,
  8. On the same note, there is a fender vent thread that shows ways to allow air flow through the fender... could do something like that instead of fans.

  10. Yessir, I've contemplated doing something similar, but I'm still debating if I'm comfortable with leaving all those fittings and the cooler out where someone can mess with them... Definitely rules out the car as a grocery getter!
  11. There's Boso style... And Subie top mount style... OR, you could do it the practical way and put infront of your intercooler / radiator.
  12. I am currently having some machine work done to my valve cover, so I don't have access to it (nor do I have the appropriate measuring tools for that matter) but I need some measurements off one. I've been contemplating ways of using -AN fittings instead of the breather tube that doesn't involve having an adapter fitting between the cover and the fittings. I want as clean of a solution as possible, so I came up with the idea of drilling out the hole in the valve cover and passing a flared male -AN fitting through from the inside and welding it on the inside of the cover. With this method I can put a 45° female hose end flush against the valve cover, and all the welds would be conveniently hidden from sight! What I don't know is the size of the hole as it is from the factory, and what size hole I would need to drill to allow an appropriate sized -AN fitting through. Anyone with suggestions on what size -AN fitting (I'm thinking -8, but I'm not sure?) and what size hole I would need drilled out would really be appreciated!
  13. Let me know if you if you find someone who wants just the adapter body. I'm not quite to the point where I want to buy the whole thing just for the lines... I might be there in a few weeks, if nobody contacts me with some soon. It's frustrating knowing how many people just toss them when they convert to -AN fittings. If I was smart I would just to do that, but I'm just too particular for my own good...
  14. It actually hasn't been made yet, I'm ordering one from Ryan. We've had more than one conversation regarding the mounting of the rail, and the various ways to go about it. He's making some custom brackets for my application, and may be able to do the same for you. He's a good guy to work with, always keeps up with communication and good prices to boot.
  15. You might check with cockerstar for brackets. You might have to send him your rail to be surer that your rail matches up to his brackets, but he has my Supra injectors for mocking up brackets, so your covered there.
  16. Pallnet used to sell a whole kit of rubber seals for people using these injectors (I'm using the same) with fuel rail stock... I haven't been able to find any information on what sizes the seals were but I'm going to be needing this info soon too. Maybe he can chime in seeing as he's no longer selling them. I don't think his kit had any provisions for holding the injectors down other than the rail and brackets, but I might be mistaken on that.
  17. Ended up getting a three bolt thermostat housing when I pulled a P90 from the junk yard, and it is much easier to work with! My GM coolant temperature sensor threads right in, as well as the sender for the gauge. Decided to ditch the Honda sensor in favor of using MS to control the fans. I liked the idea of compartmentalization incase I have issues with MS, but I figure having a simple way to control the on temps for the fan makes it worthwhile. Anyhow! I've got one more question now! After reading through the head cooling thread (read it 3 times now, figure three more times and I'll have a decent grasp of it all) I've decided to use the side port on the housing to connect to some lines from taps above the last 2 or 3 exhaust ports. Does anyone know what size thread this is? I would like to run a banjo line (I like banjo fittings for some reason ) to keep it a angled straight back from the housing. If I can keep the original thread that would be great, but if not, what would everyone recommend for a tap size? Here are some pictures of the new housing; Side shot; And the fitting that was originally in the side; Anybody who can help me I out I appreciate it!
  18. And if you you plan on ditching your banjo hard lines I would love to help you recoup some of your costs by buying them from you.
  19. They're actually M18x1.5, so it is pretty standard. Problem is, you have to angle the hoses up for clearance around the whole adapter. I had my hose guy cut my hard lines and weld on -10 fittings. I only realized afterwards that I would have to angle my new fittings almost straight up for them to work .... So, long story short, I'm looking for new hardlines so I can have him weld the fittings on the very ends, to keep the lines going straight forward from the adapter. I want to keep it banjo, not for any particular reason. I just think that with a fresh zinc coating, and black -AN hoses attached at the ends it will look really nice, while loosely maintaining a stockish look. Purpose made hard lines beat loose and messy braided in my book, just trying to keep it clean as possible under the hood.
  20. Are you keeping the banjo hard lines? If not, you can use a M18x1.5 to -10 AN adapter and order custom lines. There's a place close to me that will make custom hoses, weld fittings, and make hard lines for really reasonable prices. If you can find a place like that locally that would be your best bet. Most internet only custom hose shops are $$$...
  21. I think you and I might be doing something similar...
