  1. thanks for the info. I was thinking of fabing in adjustable pins, we will see. I guess I am over thinking this.....and the 2000 lbs would be the extreem top side. I never know what might land at my door to work on........
  2. So i have searched for most of the day with no luck finding an answer to a good engine stand. I am 6'1" and with that comes the drawback of having to live life as a mechanic in a constant state of lower back discomfort...... not fun! (I know why drive a Z......). With most of the stands that I have looked at are pretty low, I would like to have it sit above the waist but not higher than the chest. Now I turn to my fellow HBZ fans in search of a versatile heavy duty (around 2000 LBS) stand to hold my L28 on while working in a comfortable position. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated (other than the obvious..... work from a chair, the ground, cut my legs off......). Also what are the drawbacks to design?? I know the three wheel stands have a high chance of tipping. But are there adjustable height stands out there??? Google was a bust..... no help there. Just wondering. Maybe others share my problems......
  3. LOL that is the sweetest ricer coolant overflow tank EVER!
  4. I know we all know this but just to clear up any doubt...... the "best" plugs are mostly based on opinion. unless we see some clear facts, IMHO its all by the seat of your pants/ or if it actually fouls and you know there is a problem. Now we might see a jump in MPG or have the best get up and go ever, but its all very dependant on the rest of the car......... And now i can get off my soap box.
  5. Hey I have been trying to find you for about 2 weeks now, on the wrong site....I was stuck on classic Z cars for the longest time looking for you....anyways are you the guy that custom made the entire front grille for the Z? If so....how much will you charge to make one for me?.....That is the greatest thing ever, I have had that idea for about 3 years now, and nobody knew what the hell I was talking about, until I found that picture online......please contact me and let me know what we can do...thanks..

  24. I saw this on CL up here in Seattle. It looks nice but in my opinion you wont get what you think...... I am thinking around 15,000. But it seems a little over the top with the scoop on the roof??? People all ways try to get as close to what "they" put into a car when a buyer looks at what he needs to change. Althogh I aboslutly love your bubble fenders where did you get those?
