    LOL well for one there is no battery in the pic......... other than that i would think your timing is off or you might have the dizzy in the wrong position..... hope that helps

    Sounds like you need to get a Taurus fan with a timer...... if you are really worried about heat. Not a bad upgrade, use the search and check it out.

    I see that you are sticking with Nissan engines but if you want an updated I6 (IMHO) but don't want to shell out for the RB try a 1JZ or 2JZ. At more than half the price of the RB and just as able to make power. just my .02...... but stick with a L28ET for now

    At first i thought jets or float...... but i would agree that a replacement adjusting screw would do the job.

    Ok so I have the option to pick up a Dual Weber setup (unknown if they are side or downdraft)... just wondering if 125$ with manifold and K&N's is a good price? I know that rebuild kits are around 20$ so it wouldn't be much to fix them up and re-sell.... (sorry about the hijack, it seems relavent.......)

    I think you learned the most valuable lesson that any one can learn........ Take LOTS of pictures and Lable and Sort EVERY Thing! But those diagrams are GREAT!! thanks for the post

    Ok so I know this will mostly be an opinion thread I wanted to know what plugs work best for the L series? I am working on tuning my engine and starting with the ignition. I have used NGK and Bosch platinum and had great luck with both. Any ideas? thoughts?

    Sorry its a guess but the switch could be the antenna motor. My 71 240z has a 3 way switch that moves it up and down.

    also do a search for "shifter play" it has an alternate way to solve the problem.

    WOW even if it has half the rust you said the bid on it is up to 1200 and the reserve still is not met...... this guy thinks he can get big bucks for a pile of junk!! i got my 1971 240 for 750$ it hardly has any rust, great interior and it runs!!! keep looking. P.S. its a sketchy buy if the only pics are from a phone!

    That is something that a modirator needs to do..... Please add Front Clip to title We need to get this going!
